  • Patent number: 11525482
Abstract: A method for producing a shaft-hub connection in which a shaft component and a hub component are placed into a joined state in the form of a frictional shaft-hub connection. The shaft component has a toothed region having teeth with a height H, and the hub component has a mating toothed region having a mating region internal diameter d. The hub component is pushed onto the shaft component in a longitudinal direction to produce the frictional shaft-hub connection and in the process geometrically reproduces the toothed region in the mating toothed region. The mating toothed region passes over a cylindrical centering region with an outer diameter D before coming into contact with the toothed region. The outer diameter D is at most 0.2 mm and at least 0.005 mm smaller than the mating region inner diameter d. The centering region has a length L greater than 1 mm.

  • Patent number: 6426144
Abstract: A process for coating plastic substrates with a transparent layer compact that is not sensitive to scratches and abrasion and resistant to atmospheric influence with a plasma flame in a vacuum chamber at some distance from the substrate. The process includes the steps of: a cleaning of the substrate with an oxidizing gas in a first procedural step and then a cross linkage with an inert gas in a second procedural step, an oxidizing gas and a silicon-organic compound are used in a third procedural step to produce a first barrier layer, and an oxidizing gas, a silicon-organic compound, and a UV-absorbing compound are used in a fourth procedural step to deposit a sublayer with UV absorbers, an oxidizing gas and a silicon-organic compound are used in a fifth procedural step to deposit a scratch-resistant layer, an inert gas and a silicon-organic compound are used in a sixth procedural step to deposit a smooth layer.

  • Patent number: 5362330
Abstract: An emission-free process is described for cleaning precision optics and components of precision optics including the steps of first pretreating a surface of precision optics or a surface of components of precision optics by cleaning the surface in a cleaning bath to which surfactants have been added as wetting agents, circulating the cleaning bath and exposing the surface to ultrasound exposure. The surface then is rinsed with buffered water containing no wetting agents. The cleaning and rinsing steps then are repeated and the surface is rinsed with buffered, deionized water simultaneously with ultrasound exposure, and then sprayed with deionized water simultaneously with fresh water microfiltration. The pretreated surface then is subjected to short-wave UV radiation, highly accelerated electrons or glow discharge to degrade or convert organic impurities and surfactant residues present on the surface of the pretreated surface into carbon dioxide.

  • Patent number: 5009738
Abstract: An apparatus for the implementation of plasma etching processes providing a process chamber, an upper electrode, and a lower electrode. The upper electrode comprises an anode member, movable with respect to the process chamber, and provides a gas shower for delivering a highly reactive gas, such as a gas containing fluorine or chlorine, into the process chamber. The lower electrode provides a surface for holding a substrate to be etched, the lower electrode being supplied with a high-frequency negative voltage and cooled by an outside source. The process chamber is shaped to press the substrate to the lower electrode when the process chamber is lowered upon the substrate in preparation for operation. The process chamber presses the substrate around a continuous periphery of the substrate. The process chamber is provided with exhaust gas export holes which can be progressively aligned with matching holes in a perforated disk rotatably mounted to an outside surface of the process chamber.
