  • Publication number: 20050132580
Abstract: The invention relates to a deburring tool with a quick change knife, which is formed by at least two parts, namely a guide sleeve having a larger diameter and a center bore, and a base body that can be inserted in the center bore in an axial direction. The base body can be secured in the center bore. A knife groove is arranged on the base body that can receive the knife to be secured, forming a pivot support in the base body. Due to this special support, the knife can be easily exchanged even when the deburring diameters are small, for example, less than 4 mm, while still being able to absorb large deburring forces.

  • Publication number: 20050129473
Abstract: The invention describes a drill plate with a clamping attachment in a rotatably driven base body, which on one of its end faces forms a centering groove that is open towards the top. A clamping slot extending into the material of the base body is arranged at the bottom of the centering groove. The centering groove is bounded by at least two opposing mounting jaws, with at least two diametrically opposing stop faces arranged in the region of the clamping jaws for providing centering contact with the drill plate. The clamping attachment is formed by a mounting screw which clamps the drill plate in the centering groove (2.3). To improve transfer of the operating torque from the drill plate to the base body and to facilitate handling, at least two centering fins that are diametrically opposed with respect to the transverse center axis are arranged on the drill plate. The centering fins contact corresponding stop faces disposed on the corresponding clamping jaws of the base body.

  • Publication number: 20040005200
Abstract: A tool for countersinking, deburring and spindling out holes is described, consisting of a blade holder driven rotationally about its longitudinal axis, in which, at an angle to its longitudinal axis, at least one recess is arranged, in which one or more cutting blades or their holders are held as exchangeably and/or displaceably load-transmitting. In order to guarantee better protection against tilting and breaking of the cutting blade out of the recess in the blade holder it is provided that the recess is formed from radii substantially blending into one another.

  • Patent number: 6033160
Abstract: A countersinking and deburring tool for deburring, chamfering, and countersinking of partially and fully penetrating holes with a rotationally actuated housing and at least one blade which can move within a housing shaft and perpendicular to the rotational axis of the housing, provides that, depending on the direction of rotation of the drive, the blade is withdrawn into the housing shaft or extended out of the housing shaft (reverser operation), and the displacement drive for the blade consists of a rocker which is mounted so that it can rotate in the housing and is rotationally actuated, which acts on the blade with at least one actuation pin. According to the invention the rocker's rotary actuator consists of at least one centrifugal weight arranged in the housing so that it can move diametrically, whose diametric displacement in the housing is converted into a rotational motion on the rocker through a form-fit guide.

  • Patent number: 5288184
Abstract: A deburring tool for deburring bore edges of bores consists of a rotating tool holder on which one or more radially adjustable cutting knives are arranged. To ensure universal application of the deburring tool, additional cutting tools are arranged on the tool holder in axial distance from the known cutting knives so that additional chamfers and plane surfaces in the area of and outside the bore can be machined. Also, a drill or milling cutter can be connected to the tool holder on the front side of the tool holder.

  • Patent number: 5181810
Abstract: A deburring tool has at least one cutting blade mounted in a guide recess of the tool for deburring and chamfering bores. The blade is of rectangular shape with forward, non-cutting end face and longitudinal side faces extending rearwardly from the end face. At least one side face has a non-cutting glide surface extending rearwardly from the end face at a first angle, and a cutting edge extending rearwardly from the glide surface at a second, different angle.

  • Patent number: 5135338
Abstract: Described is a deburring tool with tilt blade for deburring bore edges whereby the tilt blade swings into the tool holder in a vertical direction when travelling through the bore. It features a locking device designed as bar spring which engages in a curvelike recess at the outer periphery of the deburring blade or blade holder, whereby the deburring blade holder are arranged on a tilt bolt on the basic body.

  • Patent number: 4844670
Abstract: A cutter for the deburring of bores comprises a rectangular edged cutter element having taperingly extending cutting edges, having clearance surfaces ground undercut and comprising a convexly ground contact surface on one end of the cutter head for contact with the internal surface of a bore. Two oppositely aligned cutter elements are mounted for displacement in a radial direction in a guide recess of a tool holder, and while in the operative position during the deburring of a bore, the cutting elements are displaced inwards radially because of the tool holder feed and because of the tapered extension of the cutting edges, against a spring force in the guide recess, until they finally reach the inner area of the bore in the non-cutting mode.

  • Patent number: 4756649
Abstract: A counterbore for the bilateral mounting of plane surfaces on through holes that consists of a tool head that may be driven rotationally by means of a shank. The counterbore has two cutting heads with cutting edges pointing in opposite directions. The cutting heads are guided within the tool head in take-up slots in such a way that they may be moved out radially and fixed in a preselected position. The cutting heads lie against one another within the area of the take-up slots. In order that high cutting forces may be transmitted easily in a tool head of small dimensions, the cutting heads are guided through a guide slot extending in a radial direction and positioned in the take-up slots of the tool head.

  • Patent number: 4710072
Abstract: The countersink to form a conical chamfer at the mouth of a bore hole has a conical chamfering head, on which three separate cutting plates are arranged, symmetrically, the cutting plates being fastened to the chamfering head, but removable and changeable. A compatible sharpening device permits the introduction and mounting of the cutting plates, wherein the sharpening device has the same form or shape as the countersink, so that it is easy to resharpen the cutting plates to their original specifications.

  • Patent number: 4690595
Abstract: The de-burring tool is designed for the de-burring of the edges of holes preferably in curved or oblique surfaces of a work piece and consists of a rotationally-driven tool holder on which one or more cutters are arranged which are controlled in axial displacement. Control is achieved in that the tool holder itself is axially displaceably mounted in a fixed base body, in which the axial displacement of the tool holder is achieved through a cam which follows the curvature of the edge of the hole.
