  • Patent number: 10465885
Abstract: An assembly set for recessed ceiling and wall luminaires, comprises a mounting sleeve and a luminaire housing, which is adapted to be installed in the mounting sleeve, the mounting sleeve being mountable in a wall or ceiling opening. The mounting sleeve is provided with contact portions extending, on the side of the mounting sleeve facing away from the wall or ceiling opening, perpendicular to a wall of the mounting sleeve into the interior of the latter. The luminaire housing comprises at least two locking elements extending beyond the circumference of the luminaire housing, wherein the locking elements of the luminaire housing engage behind the contact portions of the mounting sleeve at the fixing position, and the locking elements are operatively connected to handles in the interior of the luminaire housing such that the locking elements can be transferred from the fixing position to a release position by moving the handles towards each other.

  • Patent number: 10465867
Abstract: A linear light is provided with an axially extending housing in which an optical element and an electrical element are integrated. In this context, the optical element is formed as a profile that corresponds approximately to the length of the housing, and the electrical element is also formed as a profile, wherein the profiles can be inserted axially into the housing via a front side and are braced against one another transversially to the axial direction in the mounted state. The invention further relates to a method for mounting this linear light.

  • Patent number: 9841164
Abstract: A generic reflector comprises a light inlet end, a light outlet end with at least one substantially rectangular light outlet opening, an optical axis, and a reflector surface which extends between the light inlet end and the light outlet end, where the reflector surface in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis defines a polygon. The reflector surface is formed such that the polygon between the light inlet end and the light outlet end at least in sections rotates about an axis of rotation which is oriented parallel to the optical axis. The invention also relates to an arrangement comprising at least two reflectors and a luminaire with a reflector and a light source, comprising an LED.

  • Patent number: 9618683
Abstract: A luminaire, in particular a downlight, comprises a light source and a reflector, the reflector having a light entrance end and a light exit end, the light entrance end comprising at least one light entrance aperture with an edge and the light exit end comprising a light exit aperture. A luminaire shade encompasses the reflector at least partially. A first portion of the light source light is emitted by the reflector through the light exit aperture and a second portion is emitted through the luminaire shade. The light source is an LED. The luminaire includes a light guide arranged near the light entrance aperture between the LED and light exit end so at least some LED light enters into the light guide, the light guide comprising a light-guiding area extending perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the reflector at least partially beyond the edge of the light entrance aperture.
