    Abstract: A sub frame assembly for attaching a material container to different vehicles each having a first and second generally parallel chassis member wherein the chassis members of the different vehicles have different spacings. The sub frame assembly comprises at least one frame rail associated with each chassis rail, at least a first and second cross member attached to the frame rails to hold the frame rails in a generally fixed relationship, wherein the cross members space the frame rails at a distance which corresponds to the chassis frame spacing of a respective vehicle.

    Abstract: A refuse collection vehicle, comprising a cab, a chassis with loading container for refuse, a side loading device for picking up refuse containers and emptying them, a press device for compressing and image means for taking an image of the working area of the side loading device. The image-taking means are connected to image-display means in the cab; furthermore actuating means are provided, which are disposed in the cab, for intervening in the operation of the at least partially automatic side loading device, which actuating means comprise a “hold-to-run” button. A driver is able to view the entire working area of the side loading device and, if desired, of the press device with the aid of image-taking means, on the image-display means in the cab, and can intervene, when hazardous situations arise or one of these devices begins to function incorrectly.
