  • Patent number: 8759745
Abstract: Device to adjust the position and/or size of a pinhole in a laser scanning microscope (LSM) where the pinhole is illuminated via a separate light source or the LSM laser and the pinhole is moved at a right angle to the optical axis until the receiver has the maximum intensity and the pinhole position is captured and saved together with the data attributed to the replaceable optical components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 29, 2006
Date of Patent: June 24, 2014
    Assignee: Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH
Inventors: Heinrich Klose, Karlheinz Bartzke, Juergen Heise, Ralf Wolleschensky, Matthias Burkhardt

  • Patent number: 5180127
Abstract: System for the adjustable, substantially horizontal aligning of an apparatus on at least two points of support in the case of at least one tilt axis, the points of support being connected with the pistons of hydraulic cylinders. A hydraulic connection exists between all cylinders, while at least one pump can be disposed in the hydraulic connection.

  • Patent number: 4603960
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining an optimum development parameter, particularly for use in developing aerial photographs, in which the entire brightness of terrain objects to be imaged is converted into corresponding density values which are used in developing an aerial photograph. The method comprises the steps of detecting a terrain brightness by means of a photodetector array, processing the obtained measuring values in selecting maximum and minimum values, subjecting the latter values to a smoothing operation and determining a relevant gradation value. The gradation value is displayed and/or stored and used in the development of the exposed film material, taking into consideration the respective parameters.
