  • Patent number: 4522025
Abstract: A device for controlling the load distribution and speed of gas turbine systems and particularly gas turbine engines comprising for each engine a fuel control unit having a proportionally acting speed governor and a master speed governor for a common output shaft of the gas turbine systems and a load distributing control device. The master speed governor forms signals from the speed deviation and the load distributing control device forms signals from load deviations of the gas turbine systems from one another. The signals influence the speed set points of the proportionally acting governors through electronic operational amplifiers forming signal outputs from the deviation signals and preferably an auxiliary quantity and electronic summing amplifiers for adding the signal outputs together to form the control signals.

  • Patent number: 4253480
Abstract: A pressure regulator has at least one solenoid valve operated by electrical signals connected to a container the actual pressure of which is indicated by a pressure electric transducer. A comparator generates a regulation signal which is the difference between the actual pressure and a command pressure signal. A regulator is connected to the comparator for generating a control signal to the solenoid valve in such a manner that the valve member of the solenoid valve is adjustable in a stable manner between intermediate positions within a range between the open and closed positions of the valve such that throttled pressure media continuously flows through the valve. The valve adjustment signal can be a continuously variable direct voltage which is proportional to the output signal of the regulator and may be a rectangular or saw-toothed voltage with a frequency exceeding the maximum actuating frequency of the solenoid valve.

  • Patent number: 3953784
Abstract: A thyristor circuit for converting direct current to alternating current in which thyristors connecting opposite sides of a direct current circuit are alternately ignited while a commutating branch connected in parallel with the thyristors has further thyristors which are ignited alternately to extinguish each of the first mentioned thyristors before the other is ignited. The commutation branch includes two serially connected inductors interposed between the further thyristors which are bypassed by a damping diode. The juncture of the inductors is connected by a capacitor with the alternating current output line. The commutating branch may be supplied by a separator direct current voltage source which is coupled to the first mentioned direct current source by way of a diode.
