  • Publication number: 20240144043
Abstract: A method for training a machine-learning module of a computer-implemented prediction model for predicting product quality parameter values for one or more quality parameters of a chemical product produced by a chemical production plant. The production plant includes a plurality of sensors, each of which is configured to acquire process parameter values for one or more process parameters of a chemical process carried out by the production plant for producing the chemical product during operation of the production plant. A priori information about the production plant and the process carried out by the production plant is used, including chronological sequence information about a chronological sequence of the process carried out within the production plant, for which sensors sensor-specific time shifts between an acquisition time of training process parameter values and a production time of a product unit, during the production of which the corresponding training process parameter value was acquired.

  • Patent number: 5227048
Abstract: The invention concerns a backwashable filter device, specially for domestic water conduits that includes an inlet for raw water, a raw water chamber connected to the inlet, an outlet for clean water, a clean water chamber connected to the outlet, a filter element and an outlet for backwash water. The filter element is arranged between the raw water chamber and the clean water chamber and features a partial area (B) that accommodates water flow only in backwash but not normal operation. A conduit channel connects the outlet for backwash water with the partial area (B). At least one separate conduit connection is provided from the clean water chamber to the partial area (B). A conduit area is present in the conduit connection and designed in a nozzle-like shape so that clean water can be conducted from the clean water chamber at increased velocity against the partial area (B).

  • Patent number: 4719010
Abstract: A back rinse arrangement for ion exchange resin in an ion exchange bed through which a liquid to be treated flows in a substantially vertical direction to have contaminants captured therefrom in the ion exchange resin includes an inlet chamber arranged at a lower region of the fixed bed, an injector that opens into the inlet chamber and has a transporting and rinsing liquid selectively supplied thereto, and a conveying and cleansing pipe which extends vertically through the fixed bed and provided with an outlet opening at its upper end. The particulate ion exchange resin, which is particulate or granular, is gradually withdrawn by the flowing transporting and rinsing liquid from the lower region of the fixed bed, and is conveyed through the conveying and cleansing pipe, with simultaneous performance of a cleansing action, to the upper region of the fixed body which gradually descends as the ion exchange material is being withdrawn from its bottom region.
