  • Publication number: 20100330860
Abstract: A multiple-ply fluid-absorbing hygiene item for use in a garment, the item comprising an outer layer; said outer layer comprising a layer of a UV-crosslinking pressure-sensitive adhesive; the pressure-sensitive adhesive being crosslinked from a liquid pressure-sensitive adhesive precursor by UV radiation; the pressure-sensitive adhesive precursor having, at a temperature of at most 80° C., a viscosity below 5000 mPas.

  • Patent number: 6872279
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sprayable hotmelt adhesive composition, a process for preparing the same, and a method of using the same. The hot melt adhesive composition contains 30 weight percent to 70 percent of one or more poly-?-olefins; 5 weight percent to 30 weight percent of at least one oil; and 20 weight percent to 60 weight percent of at least one hydrocarbon resin having a softening range of 70° C. to 140° C. The poly-?-olefin or the mixture of poly-?-olefins has a softening point of 70° C. to 30° C. and a melt viscosity at 190° C. of 1,000 mPas to 20,000 mPas. The hotmelt adhesive has a viscosity at 150° C. of 500 mPas to 4,000 mPas.

  • Patent number: 4151349
Abstract: The invention provides a novel crystalline potassium salt of .beta.-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphoric acid (.beta.-NADP-K), having a primitively orthorhombic crystal system, which salt is more pure and more stable than the conventional amorphous form, and is advantageously not hygroscopic. The novel salt is produced by treating a dilute aqueous solution of the potassium salt of .beta.-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphoric acid with a hydrophilic water soluble organic solvent at a pH value of 2 to 5 until turbidity sets in, permitting crystallization and then separating the crystals.
