  • Patent number: 5927151
Abstract: In a shift device for a gear-change transmission of a motor vehicle, to reduce force peaks of the manual shifting forces for the kinematic connection between a manual shift lever and a shift lever fixed in terms of rotation relative to a gear-shift shaft, the kinematic connection being used for engaging and disengaging the gears includes an additional mass increasing the mass moment of inertia of the gear-shift shaft and damping members lying in the force flux of the shifting force are provided.

  • Patent number: 5791194
Abstract: A shift device for the gear change transmission of a motor vehicle has a jib supporting an additional mass pivotably on a housing part. The jib is connected by a link to a shift lever which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a rotatably and axially displaceable selector shaft. The shift lever can be actuated by a manual shift lever via a kinematic connection.

  • Patent number: 5704251
Abstract: In a gearbox of a motor vehicle, a shift console is installed with a shifter shaft unit as a preassembled module in a housing opening of a transmission housing that houses a driveshaft. The shift housing part has a mounting flange extending transversely to a geometric bearing axis with a flange opening flush with the geometric bearing axis. One bearing system is located in the vicinity of the flange opening, and the other bearing system is located on an end of shift console opposite the mounting flange. A shaft end of the shifter shaft adjacent the bearing system located in the vicinity of flange opening includes the connection for operating the shifter shaft. The transmission housing has a housing opening coverable externally by the mounting flange for inserting the shift console into the transmission housing.
