Publication number: 20120291633Abstract: A beverage machine (1) or a preparation machine, in particular a coffee machine has a main flow path (5) that leads from a line connection or a tank (2) through a boiler (3) to a dispensing location (4). The boiler (3) is connected to the tank (2), to a drip pan (8), to a drain or a dispensing location via a line (7) that encompasses a valve (6). In the case of a boiler (3) that is in the stand-by state, the valve (6) is at least partially open, whereby an unpressurized, open boiler system is at hand. A control device (9), actuates the valve (6) and closes the valve (6) provided that a demand is at hand. A combination of the advantages of a closed and of an open boiler system is possible through this.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 21, 2012Publication date: November 22, 2012Applicant: WMF Wuerttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AGInventors: Frank Goeltenboth, Alexander Kiefer, Oliver Schneider, Heinz Albert, Johannes Bais

Patent number: 6409368Abstract: The lighting device for a vehicle has a light fixture compartment whose interior is formed by a light housing and a transparent cover panel. A reflector is arranged in the interior and is formed by optical faces arranged on the side of the wall section facing the cover panel; on their outside these optical faces have a reflective layer. An area of the cover panel which is free of optical faces is provided for the reflector.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2000Date of Patent: June 25, 2002Assignee: Hella KG Hueck & Co.Inventors: Klaus Henneboehle, Heinz-Albert Puettmann

Patent number: 5537866Abstract: A method for correcting tire imbalance of a tubeless pneumatic vehicle tire includes the step of mounting the tire on a master wheel rim of great manufacturing precision and having a design that is identical at least in its seat surface to commercial wheel rims for the tire. The tire is inflated to a pressure within a range of -0.3 bar to +0.2 bar of a maximum operating pressure. The pneumatic vehicle tire mounted on the master wheel rim is pressed against a measuring device. At least one radial parameter is measured. The values of the radial parameter are recorded as a function of the angle of rotation from 0.degree. to 360.degree. of the tire. The maximum and the minimum of the radial parameter is determined and the difference between the maximum and minimum is calculated. The difference is compared to a predetermined threshold value. The bead of the tire, when the difference between the maximum and the minimum is above the threshold value, is corrected.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 1994Date of Patent: July 23, 1996Assignee: Continental AktiengesellschaftInventors: Heinz-Albert Bangert, Karl-Heinz Evertz, Klaus Kleinhoff, Manfred Thomas, Erich Buschmann

Patent number: 4999407Abstract: Quick-setting hot-melt adhesive compositions comprising a mixture of at least two polyurethane prepolymer, each providing a different glass transition point to said composition. Preferably one prepolymer has a tg above room temperature and one prepolymer has a tg below room temperature. These adhesive mixtures show an attractive blend of properties, giving quick setting bonds which are flexible immediately after bonding and which after curing have excellent heat stability and resistance to hydrolytic and chemical attack.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 1989Date of Patent: March 12, 1991Assignee: Bostik, Inc.Inventors: Heinz G. Patent number: 4846919Abstract: Method of bonding a sole to a shoe by applying moisture-curable melt adhesive to the shoe upper, subjecting the adhesive coating to a hot-cure step with airborne moisture, and pressing the sole and shoe upper together with the adhesive between them immediately after the hot-cure step, preferably in less than 90 seconds after leaving the hot-cure. The bond is effected without application of adhesive to the sole, which is merely pre-treated by wiping with solvent or primer solution.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 1988Date of Patent: July 11, 1989Assignee: Emhart Industries, Inc.Inventors: Raymond Hanson, Christopher M. Patent number: 4618651Abstract: Novel, solvent free adhesive compositions comprising a moisture curable polyurethane formed from a first component comprising a diisocyanate, and a second component comprising a substantially linear hydroxy polyester in proportions to provide a prepolymer having from 1.0 to 2.0 percent by weight --NCO groups available for reaction, and a third component comprising a monofunctional reactant present in an amount sufficient to react with 1-40 mole % of the reactive --NCO groups of the product of the prepolymer reaction. A layer of applied adhesive may be exposed to airborne moisture under relatively mild conditions to bring about chain extension of the moisture curable polyurethane, after which the layer of the adhesive composition may be heated to bring it to tacky adhesive condition. The chain extended adhesive composition is storable for at least several days without affecting the bond strength.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1985Date of Patent: October 21, 1986Assignee: USM CorporationInventors: Heinz Gilch, Hubertus von Voithenberg, Karl-Heinz Albert
