The apparatus has pipeline for supplying the liquid and spray nozzles for ejecting the liquid. A shaft with a cleaning device for the spray nozzles or for the inner wall of the pipeline is disposed within the pipeline. The shaft includes a cylindrical sleeve which has a slotted guide and a thread and is arranged in a housing which adjoins the pipeline, the thread interacting with a control spindle and, furthermore, a bolt or the like being provided which can be adjusted transversely with respect to the housing and projects into the slotted guide in a first position, as a result of which, during a rotation of the control spindle, the shaft is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the pipeline.

Abstract: A device for releasably fastening a wire foil to a supporting strip in an installation for producing paper. The installation has a wire and wire foils that extend transversely with respect to the movement direction of the wire. The foils are situated at a spacing from one another in the movement direction of the wire and come into contact with the wire. Supporting strips for the wire foils are assigned to the wire foils and likewise extend transversely with respect to the movement direction of the wire. The wire foils or the supporting strips which are assigned to them are configured in their longitudinal direction with an undercut groove, and the supporting strips or the wire foils are configured with a spring which corresponds to the cross section of the undercut groove.

Abstract: A hydrofoil for a paper production installation has a side that faces the wire formed with a wear strip. The wear strip is formed with plates that are organized in layer and formed of ceramic material. The wear strip is formed by a plurality of layers which lie on one another, each of thin plates which are situated next to one another. The layers of ceramic material are connected to one another by adhesive layers.

On their side facing the carrier strip, the plates of a ceramic material are formed with strips projecting from the latter and extending in the longitudinal direction of the carrier strip, which are formed with undercuts along their side edges, the free ends of the clips, which are oriented toward one another, projecting into the lateral undercuts of the strips projecting from the plates.

A pressure hose is disposed between the holder for the doctor blade and the support. The pressure hose allows the holder for the doctor blade to be clamped to the support.

Abstract: The temperature of the ceramic elements of a supporting or wiping strip that is assigned to a wire or a felt in a paper production facility, is controlled by guiding a cooling carrier medium or a heating carrier medium through the supporting or wiping strip. For that purpose, the supporting or wiping strip is formed with at least one channel, through which the carrier medium for heat or for cold is pumped.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a fiber suspension for papermaking of foreign substances contained therein, such as sand, metal parts, glass splinters, bark fragments and the like, by using a tubular, vertically aligned housing, which is constructed with an inlet for the introduction of the fiber suspension into this housing under pressure, also provided at its lower end with an outlet for discharging the foreign substances contained in the fiber suspension and at its upper end with an outlet for leading off the fiber suspension freed of the foreign substances. In this case, at least a portion of the housing, or the lower housing parts, or at least a casing that encapsulates the lower housing parts, are produced from a transparent or a see-through material, in particular from a transparent or a see-through plastics material.

Abstract: A device for cleaning a roll in a paper production plant has a doctor blade assigned to the surface of the roll. The doctor blade is mounted such that it can be pivoted with respect to the roll by two bearing journals that are aligned parallel to the axis of the roll. An actuating lever for pivoting the doctor blade is fixed to at least one of the two bearing journals. The bearing journal and the actuating lever are formed with mutually associated latching elements, by way of which the bearing journal and the actuating lever can be connected to each other in form-lock in different positions.

Abstract: A hydrofoil for a papermaking installation has a supporting bar and plates of a ceramic material. Either the supporting bar or each ceramic plate fixed to the latter is formed on the mutually facing sides with at least one undercut groove extending in the direction of the supporting bar over the length of the plate, and the respective other part is formed with at least one retaining strip formed approximately oppositely to the undercut groove and extending in the direction of the supporting bar. The at least one retaining strip can be clamped in the at least one groove.

Abstract: A device for the detachable fixing of the holder for a doctor blade, which is assigned to a supporting and guiding roll in a paper production plant, to a support. The holder is mounted on the support such that it can be pivoted about an axis oriented at least approximately in the direction of the doctor edge bearing on the supporting or guiding roll. Furthermore, the holder is formed by holding fingers which extend transversely with respect to the pivot axis and which are in each case constructed with a first bearing part which interacts with a second bearing part located on the support and also, between the holder and the support, there being at least one actuating element, by way of which the holding fingers can be pivoted independently of one another.

Abstract: In a device for cleaning a felt in a paper production plant, the felt is guided over supporting elements and the supporting elements are assigned at least one suction device and at least one device for applying a cleaning liquid to the felt. In this case, on both sides of the felt in each case there are provided supporting elements which extend transversely with respect to the felt. The supporting elements are disposed on the two sides of the felt offset in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction of the felt in such a way that in each case a supporting element disposed on one side is located between two supporting elements disposed on the other side of the felt and projects in between the latter, which results in that the felt is moved in a wavy course between the mutually opposite supporting elements. A suction channel is disposed between two supporting elements located beside each other.
