    Abstract: A device configured to remove and reintroduce parking tickets from and into a related automatic machine includes an elongated member having a head part, which receives the parking ticket and has an end portion adapted to be used as a pusher element for actuating a request pushbutton key on the automatic machine.     Abstract: A protective pocket for stamps or similar products is provided with a contact adhesive in a sub-region of the lower film. An embodiment having a slit includes a lower film split in two. The split or unsplit lower film is provided in part with an extremely thin layer of contact adhesive. The covering, however, covers not only the contact adhesive but the entire lower film, and is thus matched in accurately fitted fashion to the outside dimensions of the strips, so that there are only slight height differences in the stacked strips. These stacks can readily be processed into protective pockets.

A generally cylindrically shaped side wall is contiguous with and extends upwardly from the perimeter of the upper surface of the bottom section. A generally cylindrically shaped support cylinder is contiguous with and extends upwardly from the upper surface of the bottom section. The support cylinder includes an opening at its upper extent. A plurality of planar, generally rectangular shaped food dividers are contiguous with and extend upwardly from the upper surface of the bottom section. Each divider has an inner edge and an outer edge, with the inner edge abutting the center support cylinder and extending radially outwardly therefrom. The outer edge of the divider abuts the side wall.

    Abstract: Lubricant or lubricant additives comprising copolymers of .alpha.-.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid esters and .alpha.-olefins. When the olefin to ester ratio is 0.5 to 4.0 the .alpha.-olefins may have 10-16 C-atoms and the .alpha.-.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid is esterified with straight-chain and/or branched monoalcohol of 3-10 carbon atoms. When the ratio is less than 2.0 the .alpha.-olefin is C.sub.16 and the esterifying component may be C.sub.4 -C.sub.10 alcohol. The copolymers are useful as synthetic lubricating oils, mineral oil additives, lubricant additives and as lubricants for the shaping treatment of thermoplastic plastics.

At least 80 percent by weight of the unesterified copolymer has a molecular weight in the range from 1000 to 100,000. Preferably, the .alpha.-olefin is maleic anhydride and the alcohol contains 4 to 18 carbon atoms. The present compounds are surprisingly satisfactory internal and external lubricants for synthetic resin such as PVC. Furthermore, the present compounds can be used as emulsifying and/or suspending agents, in particular when the alcohol is a polyethylene oxide glycol ether with 1 to 50 ethylene oxide units.

    Abstract: Water-containing water glass fibers are disclosed, substantially free from non-alkaline compounds and having a water content of from about 15 to 30% by weight, a tear strength of from about 5 to 30 cN/tex, a ratio of alkaline oxide to silicon dioxide of from about 1:3 to 1:1.9, an amorphous structure and a density of from about 2 g/cm.sub.3 to 2.5 g/cm.sup.3. The fibers are preferably cut into lengths of from 1 to 40 mm. They may be used for subsequent production of silica fibers, a technique more advantageous than producing the latter from a melt containing SiO.sub.2 or by acid-leaching of glass fibers. The silica fibers are useful for producing wet webs, filter linings and reinforcing material.

    Abstract: The disclosure concerns a process for grinding wood on a grinding stone and the grinding stone which grinds the wood. The grinding stone has a central core, which may be comprised of concrete or steel. The core has a free inner space. A water supply line extends along the free inner space. Outlets from the water supply line are directed toward the periphery of the core at the grinding zone of the grinding layer. Around the core is a grinding layer for grinding the wood. The grinding layer is permeable so that water can be transmitted through it. The permeability may arise from the porosity of the material of the grinding layer itself or through the provision of bores or gaps in the grinding layer. The grinding layer may be comprised of a group of segments covering the core and the gaps may be defined between segments. The core may have bores for delivering the water to the inside of the grinding layer. The water may be heated and/or pressurized for improving grinding.
