  • Publication number: 20180127936
Abstract: A snow-clearing vehicle comprises a carrier vehicle and, attached to the front end thereof via a carrying device, a snowplow with at least one plowshare segment mounted to be variable in position in such a way that, upon encountering an obstruction, it executes an evasive movement to take it out of an operating position. In the process, at least one restoring spring exerts resistance in opposition to the evasive movement and returns the plowshare segment to the operating position after the obstruction has been passed. Furthermore, a braking device with electrically adjustable brake characteristic acting parallel to the restoring spring at least over part of the evasive movement and a transducer acting on the braking device via an electrical interface are provided.

  • Patent number: 6609409
Abstract: An impact test stand for vehicle components, such as interior parts, operating parts and components of an occupant restraint system includes a stationary frame and an impact body. The impact body is mounted on a carriage. The carriage is guided by a guide track and driven by a linear drive. By accelerating the carriage, the impact body is driven against the component to be tested.

  • Patent number: 6561007
Abstract: A device for testing vehicle occupant restraint systems for a side impact, with a target carriage (10) which is provided with a structure (12) in which there are mounted a seat (14) for a test dummy (16), an imitation (18) of the lower region of a vehicle side structure and the side impact restraint system (20) to be tested, and with an impact carriage (22) which is provided with a pushing surface (24) associated with the imitation (18) of the lower region of the vehicle side structure, the impact carriage (22) and the target carriage (10) being movable relative to each other such that an impact of the pushing surface (24) and the imitation (18) of the lower region of the vehicle side structure onto each other can be brought about at a predetermined speed, is characterized in that the structure (12) is additionally provided with at least one imitation (28) of the upper region of a vehicle side structure and that the impact carriage (22) is provided with an upper pushing surface (36) arranged above the lower p

  • Patent number: 6501929
Abstract: A printing system for printing on recording media first by a first printer and then by a second printer provides that print data is supplied in a page by page manner to the first and second printers from a print data source. Page information is sent to the printers using the print data and corresponding page information is sent to a buffer storage by the first printer. The page information in the buffer storage and the page information sent to the second printer are verified in a page by page manner by determining adherence to a predetermined rule. A synchronization mark is generated on the recording media by the first printer and is read by the second printer, which is used to control the printing process.

  • Patent number: 6381440
Abstract: A triplex printing system has three electrographic printer devices which enables both-sided, exactly registered printing of a paper web. For this purpose, the front side is printed in a first printer, the backside is printed in a second printer and the backside is printed again superimposed in a third printer. As a result of the arrangement of two printer chains having six printers, the structuring of a variable printing system adjustable dependent on function having a plurality of printer lanes is possible.

  • Patent number: 5700035
Abstract: A force limiter for vehicle safety belt systems which is inserted in the force flow path of the safety belt system by means of two fittings (26, 32), the distance between the fittings (26, 32) being able to be increased with a conversion of energy. In the context of such a force limiter the characteristic of the tensile force effective between the two fittings is to be rendered adjustable along the deformation displacement over a wide range. This is achieved since a first one (26) of such fittings is fixedly connected with the metal frame (20) having a deflection pin (22) arranged therein and a second one (32) of the fittings is fixedly connected with a first end of a metal strip (30), which is adapted to be drawn about the pin (22) along a positively set path. Owing to such configuration it is possible for the characteristic of the force limiter to be selected by the designer within a wide range independently of the threshold value as from which the force limiter takes effect.
