  • Patent number: 11850983
Abstract: A method produces a seat cover for a vehicle seat made of a form-fit knit part. The form-fit knit part has continuous fibers and reinforcing fibers, and each of the reinforcing fibers is made of a core fiber and a cladding fiber coaxially sheathing the core fiber. The form-fit knit part is first produced using a knitting machine, and the seat cover is subsequently produced from the form-fit knit part using an ironing machine. The ironing machine has at least one lower mold in the shape of the vehicle seat, and the core fiber has a higher melting point than the cladding fiber.

  • Patent number: 10920771
Abstract: A pump drive for conveying a reducing agent for motor vehicle exhaust gas systems, with an electronically commutated direct current motor, a positive displacement pump, and a freezing compensation structure. Also, a modular motor and pump family for forming different pump drives with several such electric motors and pumps. It is the aim of the invention to ensure, in the simplest and most robust manner possible, the integration of a hydraulic unit (gear pump) into an electrical unit (electric motor), a sealing of a wet region from a dry region, an integration of a freezing compensation into the wet region, and a mechanical attachment on the customer side. A modular construction of the electric motor and of the positive displacement pump, which, without a large modification cost, via simple combination of assemblies or modules, can be used for different requirements, is important for this.

  • Patent number: 7094996
Abstract: A method for controlling the temperature of a baking oven having a catalyst, a heating source, an oven chamber temperature sensor, and a catalyst temperature sensor, includes generating an electrical control signal based on a control state, the control state being a function of signals from the electrical sensors and being reached when the catalyst temperature is higher than the oven chamber temperature and the temperature difference between the catalyst temperature and the oven chamber temperature is greater than or equal to a threshold value. The heating source is controlled using the electrical control signal so that the oven chamber temperature is maintained substantially constant.

  • Patent number: 6543902
Abstract: The invention relates to an outside rearview mirror for a motor vehicle. Said rearview mirror comprises a mirror base, to be attached to the motor vehicle; a mirror head, which carries a mirror glass. The invention also relates to a self-blocking drive, arranged in a multipart drive housing, with an electric motor, whose output shaft is in engagement in gear with a reduction gear and/or can be folded and moved back out of the service position (F to P) about a swivel axis and hinged to the motor vehicle under the effect of an external force; and the invention relates to electromechanical or electronic means, detecting a relative movement. In a known servo drive of this type, time consuming installation steps must be performed. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to enable a relatively arbitrary number of ways to lead the motor connections out and to enable the motor to move out of a blocked position while the installation remains simple.

  • Patent number: 5530310
Abstract: For a squirrel-cage rotor of an electric machine, having a cage that passes through the stack axially and is made of electrically well-conductive short-circuit rods that are connected by short-circuit rings at the ends projecting from the stack, oscillation problems that result during operation with frequency converters are intended to be solved. In addition, higher natural torsion frequencies are intended to be achieved on the rotor, that is, the construction is to be made less sensitive by simple modifications to the squirrel cage in order to prevent the resonance effects. This object is attained in that respectively two, three or more short-circuit rods are guided together to rod assemblies at their ends, and these are connected to the short-circuit rings with material-to-material bonding.
