  • Patent number: 11215496
Abstract: An electromechanical actuating drive (1) for a bulk-goods shut-off element, comprising an electric motor (2) and a control and drive electronics unit (3) associated with the electric motor (2), wherein the electromechanical actuating drive (1) comprises a mechanism for storing energy.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 27, 2017
Date of Patent: January 4, 2022
    Assignee: BÜHLER AG
Inventors: Peter Schai, René Haid, Andreas Kleiner, Heinz Brand
  • Patent number: 11193813
Abstract: A dosing and weighing device (1) comprising a housing (2) having an inlet opening (3) and an outlet opening (4), and a weighing surface (5), which is operatively connected to at least one weight sensor (7), a mechanism (9) for detecting a pressure difference between a pressure in the housing upstream and a pressure in the housing downstream of the weighing surface (5). Via a control unit (8), the detected pressure difference is used to correct the weight detected by the weight sensor (7).
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 8367946
Abstract: A micrometering device for metering and weighing free-flowing bulk materials, such as, for example, flour, powder or fine-grain granules, is described. A reliable weighing with small batch sizes may be achieved, by arranging a weighing container for the weighing device separate from a reservoir for the product for weighing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 23, 2007
Date of Patent: February 5, 2013
    Assignee: Bühler AG
    Inventors: Claude Inauen, Heinz Brand
  • Publication number: 20100170198
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for compacting flowable solids, in particular powders, flours or similar materials, preferably by packing in packagings or sacks. In order to increase the process reliability, there is provision for evacuation of the solid and its sack packaging to take place in a likewise evacuated environment.

  • Patent number: 6927342
Abstract: Electrical conductors, such as bare or round wires, are insulated by taping with a micaceous insulating tape, having a film support of a polymer which can be heat-shrunk above 150° C. and a layer of mica fastened to the film support by means of a binder, and subsequent heat shrinkage of the polymer. The micaceous tape can also have a second film support of a polymer which can be heat shrunk above 150° C.; this second film support is then fastened to the mica layer on the side opposing the first film support.
