Abstract: An improved tooth displacement measuring apparatus for measuring the displacement of a test tooth in response to particular applied forces. A zero value selector automatically adjusts the measured values of tooth displacement with respect to a reference calibration displacement defined by the displacement measured in response to a calibration force. The measured values of displacement corresponding to the particular applied forces are stored and selectively displayed.

Abstract: An electrocardioscope with an input amplifier amplifying the analog ECG signals, with an output Y-amplifier for the Y-deflection and an X-output amplifier for the X-deflection. Between the input amplifier and the output Y-amplifier an analog digital converter, a memory with N-addresses and M-memory values per address and a digital analog counter are arranged. The address selection is determined at the memory by an address generator with N-sites. The input of the output X-amplifier is connected with the digital analog converter and the input of the latter is connected with an X-counter with selectively settable N- and N+n-count digits and the address generator and the X-counter are clocked by a clock.

Abstract: A comb-like electrode arrangement, for use in a recording instrument, comprises a photochemically produced platen having a plurality of individual, closely adjacent, parallel conductor tracks of copper thereon, said copper tracks being electrolytically coated with at least one metal selected from the group consisting of titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt and nickel.

Abstract: A device for measuring the potential across two points on the human body, comprising a box-like structure having distinct side walls, one of which includes the screen of a cathode ray tube. On each of first and second adjoining side walls of the box-like structure there are two spaced body-contacting electrodes adapted to be pressed against a human body to measure the potential across the two points on the human body corresponding to the position of said electrodes thereon. The box-like structure includes internal circuitry of a type well known in the prior art for measuring the potential between said electrodes and displaying the same on said cathode ray tube. The two electrodes on one face of the box wrapped around an edge of the box to thus form electrodes on another face, so that the box-like structure can be placed in either of two positions on the human body, to give two viewing positions for the cathode ray tube.
