  • Patent number: 3956939
Abstract: A cylinder has spaced ends and a piston is slidably and turnably received in this cylinder. An opening is provided through which a pressure fluid is admitted into the cylinder at one end, and an arrangement is provided which is connected with the piston so that counter-weights can act upon the piston in a sense opposite to the pressure exerted by the pressure fluid. The arrangement includes a ball and socket structure.

  • Patent number: 3949231
Abstract: A cylindrically shaped coil of resistance wire constitutes a source of infrared radiation which is located within a reflector comprised of a curved reflector section having a reflecting surface shaped to resemble an axially bisected rotationally symmetrical paraboloid, and a cylindrical reflector section which extends from an open side of the curved reflector section. The focal points of the reflecting surface are located on a circle which coincides with the outer circumference of the cylindrically shaped coil.

  • Patent number: 3941956
Abstract: An electromotor is mounted on a support and has a shaft extending into the silo or the like. The shaft, which is rotated by the electromotor, carries a blade which contacts the material in the silo when the material rises to a predetermined level. This prevents the blade and shaft from further rotating, and results in the generation of a signal. A free-wheeling device connects the shaft with the motor so that the shaft and motor are coupled for joint rotation in only one direction, but not in the opposite direction.
