    Abstract: The invention relates to a roll (1), more particularly a rotatable roll for a five-roll structure for making chocolate, having a device for controlling the temperature of the roll body by means of a temperature control medium (4). The temperature control medium (4) is sprayed against the inner wall (8) of the roll body (2) through nozzles (7) in at least one spray lance (6). The at least one temperature control medium drain is connected to a spout (9) which protrudes into the cylindrical roll body (2).
