Abstract: The invention relates to a multichannel profiled element for curtains, comprising a plurality of downwardly open guiding channels for each receiving at least one carriage. It consists of a plurality of profiled elements which each form one of the guiding channels, can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the channels, and are interconnected in a fixed manner perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. The multichannel profiled element for curtains is suitable for a curtain device and can comprise a curved section with a comparatively small bending radius.

Abstract: The invention relates to a carriage comprising a rail having a first end and a second end, and a fixing means extending between said ends. The fixing means is used to detachably fix a curtain to the rail. The rail is movably mounted on slides in a channel of the profiled element for the curtain. The rail is highly flexible such that it bends elastically accordingly in a curved section when the carriage is displaced.

For displacing and swivelling the curtain louvers (4), the sliding elements each have a worm drive with a toothed gear (31). The toothed gears (31) mate with a sprocket chain (2) guided in the curtain rail (1). Preferably, the sprocket chain is a bridged-string chain, in which the bridges (24) have teeth (21) arranged on a broadside and projecting laterally, said teeth mating with the toothed gears (31). The bridges (21) are injected by injection molding onto flexible stranded steel cords (23). The louver curtain is motorizable and characterized by noiseless function combined with little friction.

Abstract: The strip curtain has a plurality of glide elements which are guided by a curtain rod and connected with each other by separation-limiting devices. The free hanging curtain strips are suspended from vertical pivot axes with limited excursion. Operation of the pivot axis is by a pinion which engages a bead chain that is slidably guided by the curtain rod. The pinion is connected to the pivot axis by a worm drive, a slip coupling being provided between the pinion and the worm drive. The bead chain serves as common drive for producing pivotal movement and sliding movement of the curtain strips. The strip curtain is of simple construction and therefore reliable in operation and inexpensive and suitable for mass production.
