  • Patent number: 8093984
Abstract: An installation switching device includes a housing, a main contact point having an arc quenching chamber, an input terminal, an output terminal, an impact-style armature system configured to move the main contact point to an open position, a latching mechanism having a latching point and configured to open an isolating contact point disposed in a secondary current path parallel to a main current path, a main thermostatic bimetallic strip configured to act on the latching point to as to cause the main contact point to remain in the open position, a current limiting resistor disposed in the secondary current path, a selective thermostatic bimetallic strip disposed in the secondary current path and configured to act on the latching mechanism, a handle configured to act on the latching mechanism so as to open and close the main contact point, and a phase connecting rail.

  • Patent number: 6778368
Abstract: An electrical service distribution board is accommodated in a housing, has a feed conductor that is inserted into the housing and has outgoer conductors that lead to individual loads. Electrical service devices with different protection tasks, such as fault current protection, short circuit or over-current protection and the like, which can be connected to the feed conductor and to the outgoer conductors by a plug connection via a connection system which contains connection conductors connected to them. A mounting plate is providing for holding the service devices, with the connection conductors disposed underneath the mounting plate and the mounting plate having openings into which plug elements which are disposed on the service devices can be inserted.

  • Patent number: 6646529
Abstract: An electromagnetic release drive, particularly suitable for a residual current circuit breaker, includes a plunger loaded by a spring in a release direction, a permanent magnet configuration, a coil and a yoke. The coil generates in the yoke a magnetic flux opposed to the permanent magnet configuration when the coil is driven or released such that the spring force overcomes the attraction force of the permanent magnet configuration. The permanent magnet configuration and the pole shoe conducting the magnetic flux to the plunger are associated with the yoke and the plunger such that, in a first position, the plunger is located in the active range of the permanent magnet configuration and of the pole shoe and, in a second position, is located at least partly in the active range of the pole shoe.

  • Publication number: 20030067756
Abstract: An electrical service distributions board is described, which is accommodated in a housing, has a feed conductor that is inserted into the housing and has outgoer conductors that lead to individual loads. Electrical service devices such as fault-current circuit breakers, circuit breakers and the like are provided, which can be connected by a plug connection to busbars that are connected to the feed conductor and to the outgoer conductors. A mounting plate for holding the service devices is provided. The busbars are disposed underneath the mounting plate and the mounting plate has openings into which plug elements which are disposed on the service devices can be inserted toward the busbars. The busbars of different phases and feeds and the outgoers are disposed such that they are insulated with respect to one another and from one another in the same planes and are embedded, preferably encapsulated, in an insulating housing.
