Abstract: A subrack assembly can be configured for use with a subrack that includes an installation space for electronic circuit boards, an air distribution duct, an air collecting duct, and a slot. A fan tray can be configured to be slidably and removably received in the slot and can include panel and support one or more electric fans. The panel of the fan tray can at least partly define a first air chamber within the fan tray, and, in cooperation with the subrack, can define a second air chamber within the subrack, with the panel separating the second air chamber from the first air chamber. The one or more electric fans can be configured to drive an air flow through the first and second air chambers, the air collecting duct, and the air distribution duct, to cool the electronic circuit boards within the installation space.

Cooling air flows through the installation space essentially in the vertical direction, and at least a front mounted radial-flow fan is arranged at an angle, so that the exhaust-air flow of the front mounted radial-flow fan flows generally over a rear mounted radial-flow fan.

Abstract: A device for levering in and levering out a plug-in unit into and out of a module carrier includes a corner piece adapted for being arranged in a frontal region of the plug-in unit, and a pull lever comprising. The pull lever includes a lever positioned to be pivotable on the corner piece. The lever has a long lever arm and a short lever arm that is adapted to be supported on a lateral profile of the module carrier. The pull lever further includes a handle rotatably positioned on the long lever arm of the lever. The handle is arranged to be displaceable in a longitudinal direction between a starting position in which the handle is freely rotatable, and an engaged position in which the handle is connected force-locking with the long lever arm for pivoting the lever.

Abstract: A ventilator insert for cooling electronic components in cabinets and racks, the insert including a ventilator housing provided with a cover plate and a front plate. A plurality of blowers are held in the cover plate. The blowers are supplied with air by way of different air intake channels whose inputs constitute partial regions of the inlet opening and start at the front plate. Each row of blowers has an associated separate air intake channel. By differently dimensioning the entrance cross sections of the air intake channels, the cooling air discharged by the ventilator insert can be adapted to requirements while ensuring uniform cooling of the components.
