  • Patent number: 10105800
Abstract: Apparatus and method for manufacturing coil screens. Apparatus includes a working surface having a first edge and a second edge; a joining device, which is structured and arranged to deposit coils on the working surface, being movable over the working surface in a direction of movement from the first edge to the second edge; and a slider, which is arranged on the working surface at least in a region of the first edge, being movable perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the joining device.

  • Patent number: 5153398
Abstract: A metal-clad, compressed-gas insulated, high-voltage switching station with an insulated grounding switch. In the case of compressed-gas insulated, high-voltage switching stations, insulated grounding switches are also used for applying test voltages. Therefore, provided between the housing and the casing is an insulating ring, within which a conductor is embedded with a terminal lug which contacts the contact pin. In order to improve the insulation, the insulating ring reposes within a metallic ring, which acts as a prop ring and which receives the fixing agents. It is only interrupted by the terminal lug which is provided with an insulating enclosure. The insulating ring is thus largely relieved from mechanical stresses. Insulated grounding switches are used in the case of metal-clad, high-voltage switching stations which are insulated by SF.sub.6 compressed gas.

  • Patent number: 4854382
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger comprising aligned flat heat transfer plates and patterned profiled turbulence plates interposed as spacers between the heat transfer plates. All plates have openings or ports at each of the four corners, some of which are sealed at their periphery so as to direct fluid flow through the flow slits between the heat transfer plates. The gasket seals are part of the turbulence plates and are secured thereto by interlocking corrugations, grooves or keys.

  • Patent number: 4360059
Abstract: Elements and tube-type heat exchanger employing such elements include a hollow core and a spiral baffle formed integrally with the core and extending axially thereof. The spiral baffle includes openings for receiving pipe bundles extending axially of the core. The core of each of the elements is stepped and recessed such that a plurality of the elements may be fitted together to form the heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 4131870
Abstract: An elongate bar of electrically conductive material and having a generally U-shaped cross-section carries on the inner side of one of its legs a support with a resistance layer facing towards the other leg. A slider is guided between the two legs of the bar and has a contact spring, one contact tongue of the spring bearing on the resistance layer and another contact tongue bearing on the opposite, second leg of the bar forming a collector element. A nose formed on the slider engages a groove which exists between the resistance element and the bent free end of the one leg of the elongate bar, to guide the slider. A cover plate overlies the opening of the U-shaped cross-section of the elongate bar. An operating knob is disposed outside the cover plate and extends through a slot in the cover plate operatively to engage the slider.
