  • Patent number: 4997703
Abstract: A molding material consists of a curable synthetic resin, reinforcing fibers and fillers, the synthetic resin being applied in two layers to the reinforcing fibers: In an inner layer, the reinforcing fibers are impregnated with a synthetic resin component A which contains up to 10% by weight of fillers, and, in an outer layer, the impregnated reinforcing fibers are coated or surrounded with a further synthetic resin component B which contains not less than 20% by weight of fillers, and the components A and B may contain similar or different synthetic resins.

  • Patent number: 4761027
Abstract: The device for picking up flat articles or shapes has a gripping mechanism secured to the end of a moving arm, which is for example part of a robot. The gripping mechanism consists of at least two grippers that face each other in a plane on a frame and have gripper pins mounted on them. To allow gripping procedures to be carried out automatically the grippers are mounted in such a way that they can rotate, so that, during an appropriate rotation, the pins, which are in the shape of the arc of a circle and oriented in the form of a multiple screw thread, will be inserted into and extracted from the flat articles or shapes.

  • Patent number: 4295253
Abstract: A process for texturizing bundles of filaments of synthetic high molecular weight materials at high speed, wherein the filament bundle is passed through a feed nozzle and is then brought into contact with a hot gaseous medium which is undergoing a vortical motion and has acquired a vortex angle of from 10.degree. to 70.degree. as a result of passage through a vortex chamber, is then heated by the fluid medium in a downstream tubular chamber and is subsequently fed to an expansion stage to produce the crimp, and apparatus for carrying out this process.

  • Patent number: 3937772
Abstract: Production of a homogeneous mixture of plastics materials in powder form by subjecting a molten inhomogeneous mixture of two or more plastics to a maximum shear velocity of from 10.sup.4 to 10.sup.8 sec.sup.-.sup.1 for from 10.sup..sup.-2 to 10.sup..sup.-6 seconds; the pulverulent mixtures obtained are used in rotary sintering and injection molding.
