  • Patent number: 6134100
Abstract: The encapsulation (1) of a gas-insulated switchgear assembly is supported at both ends (7, 9) on a foundation (11). To this end, mounting device (12) are provided at the first end (7) and are anchored in the foundation (11) such that they cannot move. At the second end (9), the mounting device (13) are designed such that they can move with respect to the foundation (11), in the longitudinal direction of the encapsulation (1). This avoids mechanical stresses in the assembly. A force absorbing member is also provided at the first end (7), which transmits horizontal forces from the encapsulation (1) to the foundation (11), and thus relieves the load on the mounting device (12, 13).

  • Patent number: 5884886
Abstract: The support frame according to the preferred embodiments of the invention reduces the abrupt strains acting upon a foundation to such an extent that light and hence more economical foundations for the device secured to the support frame can be used. A preferred embodiment of the support frame includes at least two resiliently embodied girders and at least one crossbar connecting said girders. At least one securing point is provided on the girders or the crossbar for receiving a structural component to be supported. At least one connecting point is provided on each of the girders, for connecting the girder to a foundation. An interstice is provided between the respective girders and the foundation, wherein the interstice is bridged only at the at least one connecting point. The resilient girders and the interstice allow the impact upon the foundation to be dampened.

  • Patent number: 5627723
Abstract: An earthquake protection device is provided for a gas-insulated switching installation. The gas insulated switching installation has at least one busbar, at least two switch panels, each mounted on a supporting frame, and an arrangement for connecting the supporting frames to a foundation such that at least one of the supporting frames is displaceable at least in a direction of the busbar axis, and extends in a direction of a busbar axis. The at least one displaceable supporting frame is provided with at least one shock absorber, the shock absorber having an active axis in a plane of the supporting frames, the active axis running proximate a center of gravity of at least one of the switch panels.

  • Patent number: 5272460
Abstract: The current and voltage transformer (10, 11) is intended for a metal-encapsulated, gas-insulated high-voltage installation. It has an annular supporting body (13) which can be fixed inside the metal encapsulation (7) and is used for holding a current sensor and a voltage sensor. The current sensor, held on the supporting body (13), is constructed as a toroidally wound coil (14) and the voltage sensor, held on the supporting body (13), is constructed as a hollow-cylindrical measurement electrode (15). After fitment in the installation, the coil (14) and measurement electrode (15) concentrically surround a current conductor (5) of the installation. This current and voltage transformer is intended to have small dimensions and is intended to be capable of fitment without problems at any point in the installation.
