  • Publication number: 20230013800
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a Bourdon tube pressure gauge 1, comprising at least a housing 2, a Bourdon tube 3 and a process carrier 5, wherein the process medium enters the Bourdon tube 3 via a fluid channel starting from the process carrier 5 and the process carrier 5 is constructed in two parts, wherein a first part is connected to the Bourdon tube 3 as a spring carrier 4 and a second part serves as a connecting element 18 and both parts are joined and connected in the housing 2. In order to enable a low bearing retention, it is provided for the manufacture of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge 1 that the connecting element 18 and/or the spring carrier 4 has a round shoulder 17, 23 and the shoulder 17, 23 is inserted into a radial bore 7 of the housing, wherein first a connection is made between the shoulder 17, 23 of the connecting element 18 and spring carrier 4 and then a connection of the shoulder 17, 23 to the housing 2.

  • Patent number: 6209397
Abstract: The invention concerns a membrane for a pressure sensor. The membrane has, on a flat central face (26), an annular attachment face (12), which is disposed concentric to the central face (26), and a non-flat connecting face (54), which links the central face (26) with the edge face (12). The connecting face (54) is formed from at least one annular step (36, 44, 52), which consists of one flat annular face (32, 40, 48) and one truncated-cone-shaped step face (30, 38, 46), which connects radially inward to the annular face. The annular faces (32, 40, 48) and the central face (26) lie in planes parallel to each other, whereby the heights (h1, h2, h3) of the step faces (30, 38, 46) measured perpendicular to the plane of the central face are very small in relationship to the width of the respective step. This stepped design of the membrane results in a high linearity of the characteristic of the membrane pressure sensor and at the same time to a steep slope of the characteristic in its linear region.

  • Patent number: 5983726
Abstract: A membrane pressure sensor has an assembly comprising a thin membrane and a base, on which an annular joining face is formed. The membrane has a waved edge region in which numerous annular wave troughs and wave crests succeed one another alternatingly in the radial direction. The waved edge region of the membrane is attached to the joining face of the base. The wave crests of the edge region form numerous annular protrusions on the side turned away from the joining face, which permit a high sealing action when the assembly is connected with an annular flange having a measurement material space. When the joining face is flat, at least all wave troughs of the waved edge region of the membrane are circumferentially soldered to the joining face.

  • Patent number: 4876894
Abstract: A pressure guage connection for connecting a pressure sensing device such as a manometer or an electrical pressure detector to a pressurized vessel or conduit is disclosed. The connection element constitutes a cylindrical stem designed in one piece with the device carrier, with said cylindrical stem having a ring-type flange at its end. The ring-type flange places an attachment element to the cylindrical stem in an undetachable manner. The attachment element also has a deformation portion which is deformable in the radial direction after the placement onto the cylindrical stem, with a shoulder being formed as a result of the deformation and with the attachment element resting against the ring-type flange via this shoulder. The attachment element can be a clamping nut or a cap screw.

  • Patent number: 4219388
Abstract: A process for the recovery of maleic anhydride from distillation residues containing the same is described whereby a residue containing phthalic anhydride is added to the residue of maleic anhydride prior to or after distillation of the maleic anhydride residue. By such a process maleic anhydride recovery is improved and the distillation residue remaining from distillation of the maleic anhydride out of the maleic anhydride residue remains removable by simple mechanical means from the distillation vessel.

  • Patent number: 4150940
Abstract: In a cigarette lighter including a housing containing an ignition mechanism, a cap-type member is pivotally mounted on the open end of the housing. The cap-type member includes a lug extending outwardly through an opening in the housing. The lug bears against an edge of the opening and the edge provides a fulcrum about which the lug and, in turn, the cap-type member pivot into the housing. The cap-type member is in engagement with the ignition mechanism so that it actuates the ignition mechanism when it is pivoted into the housing.
