  • Patent number: 5437435
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a gas purging device for introducing gases and/or solid reactants into the metal melt of a metallurgical crucible, consisting of a gas purging plug, a well nozzle sleeve surrounding it, and/or a well nozzle surrounding the plug or the nozzle brick, with a mounting device arranged in the area of the respective end face.

  • Patent number: 4884787
Abstract: A refractory, ceramic, shaped member or nozzle. The shaped member is provided with a passage, preferably in the center. To prevent molten material that might penetrate the passage from penetrating therethrough and solidifying at such a later point, a cooling device may be provided in the passage.

  • Patent number: 4572126
Abstract: The invention is directed to an apparatus for controlling the overrun mode of operation of an internal combustion engine in dependence on the instantaneous rotational speed and a threshold characteristic of a resume speed. A throttle valve position sensor, a speed comparator and an evaluation circuit for determining a fuel supply cutoff or a fuel metering signal are provided. Means responsive to engine speed or actuable at the operator's discretion permit the circuit to be held in a state in which the overrun cutoff signals are suppressed. If these means are speed-dependent, a dynamic suppression for a predetermined period of time results; the means utilized for suppressing the overrun cutoff function may also be actuated in response to external driving situations or in response to the conditions of other components of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 3936259
Abstract: The invention relates to an injection moulding machine having an injection unit with a nozzle which is laterally adjustable relatively to a mould opening. The adjustment is provided by one or both of the facilities consisting of:A. Rotatable eccentric means disposed between the injection unit and the support fixed relatively to the mould, andB. Lockable couplings between two rods, which extend substantially parallel to the axis of the injection unit and on which the injection unit is mounted, and a part fixed relatively to the mould.
