    Abstract: A hydraulic proportional action valve apparatus includes a throttle valve, and a pressure balance which permits adjustment of the pressure difference between a supply pressure and a consumer pressure. The pressure balance, which may be provided with a spring, is hydraulically supported. A supporting assembly, which is provided for this purpose, is biased by a constantly controllable pressure-regulating valve. The control of the pressure-regulating valve may occur as a function of hydraulic parameter, such as, for example, the load pressure or the pilot pressure of the throttle valve.
