  • Publication number: 20240092110
Abstract: A method operates a facility, which serves for the continuous production of multiple gang runs for forming individual signatures or signature packs from which type-specific print products are made in a downstream print further processing machine. An endless web is the basis for the formation of these multiple gang runs. The endless web, in the non-folded state, is imparted complementary handling by facility-internal means according to the following criteria: i) in a 2-gang run, the individual signatures or the folded signature packs are only deflected in a second longitudinal air folding station disposed downstream of the first longitudinal air folding station; and ii) in a 3 or 4-gang run, the individual signatures or the folded signature packs are additionally folded in a second longitudinal air folding station disposed downstream of the first longitudinal air folding station.

  • Patent number: 11858066
Abstract: The invention relates to a laser processing machine (11) with a laser processing head (12), with a support grate (16) that defines a support plane (A) for supporting a workpiece (8) to be processed, with a fluid supply device (21) and with a fluid removal device (31). The fluid supply device (21) and fluid removal device (31) are designed to generate a fluid flow (27) under the support plane (A) of the support grate (16). The fluid supply device (21) can be moved with the laser processing head (12).

  • Patent number: 9572453
Abstract: A device for discharging milk and/or milk froth, including a pump to convey milk from a container, a flow-heater, and an output for discharging milk, embodied cooperating with each other such that milk conveyed via the pump and heated via the flow-heater can be discharged from the output. At least one steam generator is provided cooperating with the flow-heater such that downstream in reference to the flow-heater and upstream in reference to the output, steam can be fed to the milk for an additional heating step. An air valve to create milk froth is provided, and the air valve is openable to introduce air upstream in reference to the flow-heater.
