  • Patent number: 6270658
Abstract: To bring maximum sterility in a stationary drinking water supply installation with a water tank, the invention provides a method for filling a drinking water installation in which, after filling a tank with fresh water, the water is circulated at least over a filter. The invention also provides an apparatus for drinking water supply from a drinking water tank with a supply pipe connectable to a fresh water source and which has a three-way valve (6) with an inlet (4) connected to the fresh water intake (3), as well as a second inlet (22) and a supply pipe (5) leading to the tank (2). There is also a return pipe (21) leading from the water tank (2) to the second inlet (22) of the three-way valve (6) and a circulating pump (9) in the water circuit formed by the return pipe (21) and supply pipe (5).

  • Patent number: 5651663
Abstract: In order to create a safety device (1) by means of which reliable protection of the pump can be achieved as simply as possible, it is proposed that safety device (1) have a housing (4) provided with an inlet (5) and an outlet, inside which housing a first detection device with a transmitter element in the form of an impeller (7) provided with measuring blades (9) and a central part (10) are provided to determine the liquid throughput and a second detection device (24) in the form of a probe for detecting the liquid, both of which are connected with a control device for the pump.

  • Patent number: 4795199
Abstract: In a clamping sleeve for pipes, which consists of a rubber-elastic sealing ring and a clamping ring (2) encircling the sealing ring, on the ends of which clamping ring (2) are attached parts (4, 5) having clamping plates directed outward and located opposite one another, the gap between the clamping plates is bridged by a sheet-metal part which sits against the outer side of the clamping ring and, like the clamping ring (2) itself also has edges which are bent radially inward and, at the overlapping point with the end of the clamping ring (2), fit between the bent edges of the clamping ring. The sheet-metal part (15) is formed by an end section of the clamping ring (2) which has a longitudinal slot (18) which extends up to its end and, in turn opens at its inner end into a transverse slot (19).

  • Patent number: 4715626
Abstract: A clamping sleeve for pipes consists of a rubberelastic sealing ring (1) and a clamping ring (2) which encircles the sealing ring and has clamping plates (5) which are directed radially outward, are located opposite one another and are penetrated by a centrally arranged clamping screw (6). The clamping screw (6) is supported on the clamping plates by intermediate pieces (8, 9), of which one is arranged between the head (7) of the clamping screw and the clamping plate, whereas the other directly forms the nut for the clamping screw. The intermediate pieces (8, 9) have a cylindrical cross-section, so that they sit with a cylindrical surface against the adjacent clamping plate (5). Furthermore, the position of the intermediate pieces (8, 9) is fixed at the clamping plate (5) by stops (11, 12). The swivelling capacity of the intermediate pieces (8, 9) relative to the clamping plates (5) makes possible an inclined position of the clamping plates (5) relative to the clamping screw (6) and relative to one another.
