Patent number: 5456931Abstract: This invention pertains to a process as well as an apparatus for the production of elongated pasta products, particularly lasagna, wherein the pasta products are formed via a pasta production apparatus in parallel lines, positioned on drying rods, dried and upon solidification, cut into packaging lengths and packed for consumer use. After cutting, the lasagna are moved, in series, via slides, and stacked in portions, of predeterminable numbers, at a conveyor. The conveyor preferably takes the form of a ring-type conveyor for the serial packaging of these portions, whereby inspections, additions and exact weight determination of these portions can be accomplished.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 1993Date of Patent: October 10, 1995Assignee: Buhler AGInventors: Friedrich Egger, Werner Seiler, Heinz Resch

Patent number: 5364651Abstract: The inventive method and apparatus suggests guiding the pasta directly into a drying climate after exiting from the die. Pasta strands of short goods are fed directly into the drying device from the extrusion die. The pasta strands can be cut either directly at the extrusion die or subsequently into packaging lengths after drying by means of an additional cutting device. It is possible to operate only the initial drying in this way, particularly to heat up the goods and then to carry out the final drying in a manner known per se, e.g. by portions. However, it is also possible to carry out the drying in its entirety, i.e. the pre-drying and final drying, according to the invention, particularly for short goods. The goods can be intensively dried at previously unaccustomed temperatures of 90.degree. C. to 120.degree. C., particularly during final drying from 15% to less than 13% product moisture.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 1993Date of Patent: November 15, 1994Assignee: Buehler AGInventors: Josef Manser, Egger Friedrich, Werner Seiler, Heinz Resch

Patent number: 4635861Abstract: A roller mill, in which the milling rollers are pressed together with high pressures, has a fluidic device for imparting the respective pressure. This fluidic device comprises piston-cylinder units and a pressure line for the fluid. In order to obtain a skewing of at least one roller in dependency upon the pressure exerted by the fluidic device, pressure sensitive means are interposed between the pressure line and a displacing device for the skewing angle. In this way, a pressure signal may be transferred to a converter for converting the pressure into a corresponding displacement stroke. Preferably, at least one roller has a basic camber or crown which corresponds to a pressure within a lower range of the occurring pressures.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 1985Date of Patent: January 13, 1987Assignee: Gebruder Buhler AGInventor: Heinz Resch

Patent number: 4467141Abstract: A mobile subscriber station served by a telephone network is coupled by a radio link with an individually associated stationary relay station directly connected to that network. The tow stations are able to communicate with each other, over a radius of about 50 meters, on any of 40 channels available to all the posts of subscriber and relay stations in the neighborhood. Each station of a post includes a transmitter and a receiver operating at about 900 MHz; in the idle state of the post, the receivers of both stations continuously scan the available channels to determine their free or busy condition. A person wishing to make an outgoing call causes the transmitter of the subscriber station to send out a predetermined code word which is picked up by the receiver of the associated relay station in its scanning operation and, upon verification by a code comparator, initiates the emission of a handshake signal to the subscriber station whereupon the channel is seized to let the call proceed over the network.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 1982Date of Patent: August 21, 1984Assignee: Portaphone AGInventors: Heinz Resch, Franz Machl, Klaus Kerschbaumer, Helmut Ullrich

Actuation apparatus for the movable mold halves or parts of an injection molding machine or the like
Patent number: 4021182Abstract: The actuation apparatus for the movable mold parts or halves of an injection molding machine, especially for the manufacture of foamed plastic articles, comprises pairs of toggle-lever rods with the toggle-lever rods of each pair being movable in essentially parallel planes which are spaced from one another. The toggle-lever rods of each pair are arranged between a movable mold support plate and a stationary toggle plate, and can be conjointly selectively extended or retracted by means of a driven toggle head. The planes within which the toggle-lever rods operate extend obliquely across the movable mold support plate and the toggle plate, and the pairs of toggle-lever rods are arranged symmetrically on opposite sides of a vertical plane of symmetry containing the central longitudinal axis of the machine.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 1975Date of Patent: May 3, 1977Assignee: Gebrueder Buehler AGInventor: Heinz Resch
