  • Publication number: 20210023590
Abstract: A parts cleaning machine to automatically clean just-manufactured parts (e.g., pins). The machine includes a housing and a parts guide (e.g., a tube) extending through the housing along which the parts to be cleaned are moved. A pair of brush assemblies extend through the housing at opposite sides of the parts guide. The brush assemblies have rows of bristles that are positioned to engage the parts to be cleaned that move along the parts guide. A cleaning solution manifold is located in the housing to apply cleaning solution supplied thereto from a cleaning solution reservoir to the bristles of the brush assemblies. A motor is coupled to each of the pair of the pair of brush assemblies to cause the brush assemblies to rotate so that the parts are scrubbed with the cleaning solution applied to bristles thereof. One of the pair of brush assemblies is rotated faster than the other.

  • Patent number: 7174611
Abstract: A combination artificial candle and urn is disclosed to provide an aesthetically pleasing and dignified memorial to a departed loved one (e.g., a pet) who has been cremated so that the memory of the loved one will not soon be forgotten. The combination includes a hollow cylindrical (e.g., nylon) outer shell having upper and lower chambers and a partition to separate the chambers from one another. A removable top end cap is connected across the top of the outer shell, and a removable bottom end cap is connected across the bottom of the outer shell. The removable top end cap is rotated out of engagement with the outer shell to gain access to the upper chamber so that candle oil can be supplied thereteo. The removable bottom end cap is rotated out of engagement with the outer shell to gain access to the lower chamber so that the ashes of the departed loved one can be received and stored therein.

  • Patent number: 5256043
Abstract: The invention concerns a vane pump for conveying bulk substances, in particular meat pastes, having a housing (4) with an inlet (6) and an outlet (10) for the bulk substance. Disposed inside the housing (4) is a rotor (14) displaying a rotatably-journaled, central driving element (16) and several moving vanes (20a to j), which are arranged on the central driving element, in its direction of rotation (C), one behind the other and at an angle to the direction of rotation (C), and commonly surrounded by a limiting wall (24) of the housing (4) running about in the direction of movement (C) of the vanes (20a to j), with the limiting wall (24) forming conveying chambers for picking up (accommodating) bulk substances and, with rotation of the driving element (16), being moved in sequence past the inlet (6) and the outlet (10).

  • Patent number: 4892728
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pumpable cationic fatty alcohol dispersion having a high content of dispersed fatty alcohol and a low content of cationic dispersant, characterized in that it contains:(A) from more than 10 to about 25.0% by weight of a linear or branched, primary, saturated C.sub.14 -C.sub.22 fatty alcohol;(B) from about 0.01 to about 1% by weight of a cationic surface-active compound containing a quaternary ammonium, pyridinium or imidazolinium group and a linear C.sub.8 -C.sub.22 alkyl or 2-hydroxyalkyl group; and(C) water quantity sufficient to adjust to 100% by weight. It has surprisingly been found that the fatty alcohol dispersions according to the invention can be stabilized with very small quantities of the cationic surface-active compound and that, despite high fatty alcohol contents, a low viscosity and hence good pumpability of the dispersion can be obtained, particularly with low contents of cationic dispersant.

  • Patent number: 3930763
Abstract: A rotary cell pump is provided for the conveying of sausage stuffing and the like. The pump has a stationary hub and a stator surrounding the hub in concentric relation therewith and an eccentric rotor. The rotor divides the pump into an inner pumping chamber for the sausage mix and an outer pump chamber forming an air pump to evacuate air from the sausage mix.
