  • Patent number: 8102442
Abstract: An image sensor circuit comprises a pixel cell array having a plurality of pixel cells arranged along a plurality of column lines, a plurality of readout circuits connected to said column lines, each of which comprises an analog-to-digital converter and a multiplexer for selectively applying an output signal of one of said column lines to said analog-to-digital converter. Between two of said column lines which are connected to a first one of said readout circuits located at a first side of said pixel cell array, there is a column line which is connected to a second one of said readout circuits located at a second side of said pixel cell array opposite to said first side.

  • Patent number: 5567463
Abstract: A cooking-extruding apparatus and method for the cooking-extrusion of biopolymers for the production of thermally treated food granulates, snack products, cereals or similar products. The cooker-extruder having a feeding hopper, a conveying screw, an exit nozzle, and at least one spatula-pump disposed between the conveying screw and the exit nozzle. Each spatula-pump includes a spatula element and plate having a matrix of holes. In operation, the spatula element assists the material being processed through the plate having a matrix of holes. An embodiment of the apparatus of the present invention includes the use of two conveying screws. The spatula-pumps are arranged serially such that the material being processed passes through one spatula-pump to the next until it is passed through the exit nozzle of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4802838
Abstract: On an extruder for extruding foodstuffs a cutting means consisting of rotatable blades (36, 38, 40, 41) is provided. With the aid of these blades an extruded strand emerging from the nozzle (12) can be cut off or structured at the surface. The cutting blades are driven synchronously.

  • Patent number: 4630533
Abstract: In this cooking extruder the nozzle head (12) is disposed in a nozzle plate (10) and the passage (34) through which the material for the envelope body is supplied extends at an angle to the axis of a filling tube (42) through which the filling material is introduced into the extruded envelope body. When clogging occurs during production the filling tube (42) can be withdrawn from the nozzle head (12) and replaced by a new filling tube. The front end of the filling tube (42) is led between forming rolls (66, 68) and serves as abutment for said rolls. This makes it possible to form the surface of the envelope body with a pattern or bake said surface locally or over the entire periphery. In the nozzle head (12) a baffle plate (30) is disposed with the aid of which a uniform distribution of the material supplied for the envelope body may be achieved. An annular space between a lining tube (28) in the hollow mandrel (22) and the filling tube (42) may be subjected to suction extraction.
