  • Patent number: 11007533
Abstract: A material-bed roller mill including two adjacently arranged rollers which are oriented in an axially parallel manner and which rotate in opposite directions and between which a roller gap is formed, a foundation, two roller mountings, in each of which a roller is rotatably mounted, each roller mounting being secured to the foundation in a pivotal manner; and a clamping device. The clamping device is arranged outside of the roller gap and connects the two roller mountings. Each roller mounting has two rockers which are designed as separate components and each of which is arranged at an end of a roller and can be deflected independently of the other.

  • Patent number: 10245591
Abstract: A bearing element suitable for supporting a grinding disk in a roller mill, comprising a plate-like or disk-shaped base element, an annular disk and a spacer element, wherein the annular disk is disposed substantially parallel to the base element and at a distance from the base element, and is connected at its bottom using an annular spacer element with the base element, and the annular disk has means on its upper side for receiving the axial bearing segments, whereby the spacer element is designed as an annular strip extending in the axial direction and has a plurality of spaced-apart arches in the circumferential direction, whose openings point towards the base element.

  • Publication number: 20180272355
Abstract: The invention relates to a material-bed roller mill comprising the following: two adjacently arranged rollers which are oriented in an axially parallel manner in a base state and rotate in opposite directions and between which a roller gap is formed; a foundation; two roller mountings, in each of which a roller is rotatably mounted, each roller mounting being secured to the foundation in a pivotal manner; and a clamping device which acts on the roller gap and which is arranged outside of the roller gap and connects the two roller mountings together. Each roller mounting has two rockers which are designed as separate components and each of which is arranged at an end of a roller and can be deflected independently of the other.

  • Patent number: 4995253
Abstract: Method, control, and apparatus for taking up a billet produced in an extrusion or tube-making press includes applying a controlled pull-away tractive force, which keeps the emerging billet straight and does not affect the formation of the billet, increasing the pull-away tractive force in proportion to the extruded billet length, unit length weight and coefficient of friction between the billet and the delivery table, superimposing the pull-away tractive force upon the take-up tractive force determined from the cross-section and flow behavior in the die. After a billet has been separated and withdrawn from the die, the pull-away force and the length of the emerging billet are measured and the pull-away force, divided by the billet length, is entered as a set value for the specific profile frictional force to be multiplied by the billet length, which is determined by a path measurement, when extruding a subsequent billet of the same nominal cross section.

  • Patent number: 4338473
Abstract: Nitrosation agent(s), contained as by-products in nitrated aromatic compounds after nitration with nitric acid or nitration acid, are removed by a water treatment, wherein the water is distilled off at least partially in vapor form, advantageously under reduced pressure. In the further reaction of the nitrocompounds treated in this manner undesired nitrosamines are practically not formed. The process is especially suitable for the manufacture of 4-di-n-propylamino-3,5-dinitrobenzotrifluoride (Trifluralin), a valuable herbicide, substantially free from nitrosamine(s).

  • Patent number: 4325825
Abstract: A separator for separating liquids immiscible with each other and containing solids heavier than the heavier liquid, includes a rotating conic drum into which the liquids are injected. The drum has a circumferential wall formed of two oppositely-directed conic surfaces joined at the bases at an inclination angle to form an equator; and openings are provided at the equator for the heavier liquid and the solids to pass. Preferably, the drum has a star-like cross section with the interior wall extending inward at an angle from either side of each opening. The separator can include a weir or paring disc disposed radially in the static pressure chamber at a nominal level of the heavier liquid to maintain proper pressure of the heavier fluid to prevent the lighter liquid from discharging into the static pressure chamber. Alternatively, a sensor and valve arrangement can be provided to achieve this benefit.
