  • Patent number: 11254012
Abstract: A control device for industrial machines having controlled motion drives for machine components has at least one control element configured to manually influence or specify adjustment movements of at least one machine component and is implemented as a rotary control element with a continuously rotatable actuating element connected in terms of motion to a rotational resistance generator that is variable under control or the actuating element can be connected in terms of motion thereto. The rotational resistance generator is drivable by an analysis and control device. The analysis and control device and the rotational resistance generator in this case are equipped to inhibit the rotational mobility of the actuating element, or to subject it to an increased rotational resistance haptically perceptible by an operator, as a function of machine states or events known to or sensed by the control device. In addition, a corresponding control method is specified.

  • Patent number: 8688260
Abstract: A method enables a user to create, edit, monitor and/or optimize the overall machine process of a programmable machine or system assisted by a graphics editor. The programmable machine or system is initially put together as a system of individual machine units which are involved in the overall machine process during certain times by running a number of partial machine processes that are firstly synchronized with one another once they have been set up and then parameters are set for them. These method steps take place in a two-dimensional process diagram created by the graphics editor that plots all the partial machine processes involved in the overall machine process via assigned process symbols that are positioned or repositioned by the graphics editor so that they are arranged in a machine component dimension and in a time dimension.

  • Patent number: 8483851
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a control device (2) for operating an electrically controllable technical device (1), in particular a machine, an installation, a device or a technical process. A control panel (4) with input means (6) for issuing control commands to the technical device (1) and for inputting data into the control device (T) by an operator (7) is provided in this case. This control panel (4) also comprises a graphics-enabled output means (8) for displaying subsets of information which is available overall for an operator (7). The important factor here is to provide at least one second screen layout, which is designed to display a second subset of information on the graphics-enabled output means (8) and is intended to be viewed from a relatively great distance, in particular from outside an immediate control range (9) of the control panel (4) or the technical device (1).
