  • Patent number: 6840132
Abstract: A pedal unit including a four-bar parallelogram is made up of an upper retainer piece, a lower retainer bracket, with footplate attached and two roughly parallel arms, which are each rotatably mounted at one end on the upper retainer piece and at the other end on the lower retainer bracket. The pedal unit may rotate about a main bearing. An adjuster device for the adjustment of the footplate, predominantly in the X-direction, is provided. The upper retainer piece and a sliding block are mounted on a guide pinion in a displaceable and adjustable manner. A rod bearing is arranged on the guide pinion, whereas the main bearing is arranged on the sliding block and a main bearing tie and a rod bearing tie are provided, one end of each being rotatably connected to a solid bearing block and the other free end rotatably mounted in the main bearing or the rod bearing. A longitudinally adjustable strut is mounted between the arms with both ends rotatably connected to the above arms.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pedal unit, comprising a four-bar parallelogram. The pedal unit is made up of an upper retainer piece (8), a lower retainer bracket (11), with footplate (12) attached and two roughly parallel arms (9, 10), which are each rotatably mounted at one end on the upper retainer piece (8) and at the other end on the lower retainer bracket (12). The pedal unit may rotate about a main bearing (B). An adjuster device for the adjustment of the footplate (11), predominantly in the X-direction, is provided. The upper retainer piece (8) and a sliding block (5) are mounted on a guide pinion (6), in a displaceable and adjustable manner. A rod bearing (A) is arranged on the guide pinion (6), whereas the main bearing (B) is arranged on the sliding block (5) and a main bearing tie (3) and a rod bearing tie (4) are provided, one end of each being rotatably connected to a solid bearing block (1) and the other free end, rotatably mounted in the main bearing (B), or the rod bearing (A).

  • Patent number: 6070296
Abstract: A detachable door hinge for motor vehicle doors which includes two hinge halves securable to a door and a door pillar, respectively, two hinge pin stubs fixedly secured in respective gudgeons of one of the two hinge halves and extending, in an attached position of the hinge, into complementary gudgeons of another one of the two hinge halves, with each of the two hinge halves being formed of a folded section of sheet metal and having, at least in a region of a hinge axis, a U-shaped cross-sectional profile, with respective gudgeons being formed in legs of respective hinge halves, and with the hinge further including elements for mutually locking the two hinge halves in their pivotal positions corresponding to both a closed position of the door and a partially open position of the door.

  • Patent number: 5205016
Abstract: A door holding device for motor vehicle doors includes a door holding rod which is swivelably attached to a structural door component, a door or a door post. The door holding rod extends with its other end through a holder housing mounted on another structural component or the like. The door holding rod has along its length increased thickness portions which protrude outwardly transversely of the longitudinal direction of the door holding rod. The door holding rod is freely swivelably mounted on a carrier member by means of a clinch bolt or a screw bolt. A spring load is applied to the door holding rod in axial direction of the swivel bearing of the door holding rod. The clinch bolt or screw bolt is mounted secured against rotation in the opening of the carrier member. The clinch bolt or screw bolt additionally has a knurled profiling in engagement with the opening of the door holding rod.
