Abstract: A sealing disc for a closure cap for containers, especially bottle closures for liquids fermented with yeast, consists of a plurality of layers (1, 2, 3, 4). One of these layers (4) comprises an active especially metallic substance in layered or particulate form which binds sulphur compounds in order to reduce the formation of sulphide odours after the bottle has been filled.

A sealing layer is provided on the side of the foil that is to face the interior of the container, for sealing tight the edge region of the sealing disc on the mouth of the container. One or more layers are located on the side of the foil that is remote from the sealing layer. Further, a hand grip is formed as part of the sealing disc and serves to open the mouth of the container that is closed by the sealing disc. On the side that is remote from the sealing layer, the layer or layers are provided with weakening lines for forming an outline of the hand grip. The weakening lines lead into the edge region of the sealing disc.

The film comprises a monolayer or coextruded multilayer, in each case biaxially stretched and heat-fixed, film, which has full-surface or partial peelable heat-sealable coating and contains a water-repellant additive component mixture.

Abstract: A sail for sports equipment, in particular a windsurfing sail, comprising a multilayered composite film comprising a stretch-oriented and heat-set polyester film preferably made of polyethylene terephthalate, and at least one plastics layer of polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride or fluorocarbon resin applied to at least one of the two surfaces of said polyester film.
