  • Patent number: 5110235
Abstract: The invention comprises a grate having a device to prevent it from dislodging when a vehicle drives over the grate. For this purpose, a part (2') of the supporting component at a side face of the grate (1) is designed as a thin, tongue-shaped wall (33) with an outer thickening (34). The supporting component has a notch (35) that is vertical with respect to its longitudinal axis on an end of the tongue-shaped wall, a thickening (22) or a depression being located on an inner side face of the associated supporting frame.

  • Patent number: 4959940
Abstract: A cantilever plate connecting assembly consists of an insulation body (3) with reinforcement bars (5) extending therethrough. The reinforcement bars (5) are embedded, on one side of the insulation body (3) in a cantilever plate (1) and, on the other side, in a floor-ceiling plate (2). On both sides of the insulation body (3) there are provided face plates (6) made of stainless steel, which have a tensile bar (5) and a pressure reinforcement bar (5) extending therethrough. The advantage of the construction lies in the optimization of statics, service life and safety.

  • Patent number: 4630962
Abstract: A slotted grate (2) is provided for being positioned in and covering the opening of the channel body (1) of a drainage channel. Anchor means are provided for detachably securing grate (2) to channel body (1) and include a bolt (4) rotatably mounted on grate (2) and having an end (14) extending into channel body (1). A locking strap (5) is carried transversely by bolt (4) for rotation within channel body (1) into and out of proximity to the walls (7, 7') of channel body (1). Locking blocks (8, 8') are carried by walls (7, 7') and secure locking strap (5) within locking blocks (8, 8') upon rotation of locking strap (5) in one direction, and permit detachment of locking strap (5) upon rotation of locking block (5) in the other direction. Therefore, grate (2) can be easily and quickly secured to or detached from channel body (1), as desired.

  • Patent number: 4621939
Abstract: The drainage channel comprises a channel body (1), cast frame (2) and cast grid (3). The support surface of the side walls (11) of the channel body (1) are of stepped construction, with a raised external supporting rib (13). The frame (2) is rectangular, with a lowered support rail (28) as support for the side ribs (30) of the grid (3). On the outside the frame (2) has detachably fastened brake lugs (23), which in the installed state prevent displacement of the frame (2). Locking bar holders (44) of roughly H-shaped cross-section are disposed in the side walls (11) some distance below the support surface. These locking bar holders form a closure between the interior of the channel body and the exterior. On the inside a side wall (79) forms an obtuse angle with the wall (75), so that the locking bar (45) can easily be turned into the inner recess (78).

  • Patent number: 4578916
Abstract: The element comprises a socket and a bar slidingly insertable into the opening of the socket. Disposed around and spaced from both the socket and the bar are at least two closed loops each, of generally rectangular shape and made from reinforcing rods. The loops are secured to the socket and the bar, respectively, in one case by welding, in another case by means of a holder. Because they are symmetrically spaced from the socket and the bar, they ensure good distribution of pressure within the concrete.

  • Patent number: 4506481
Abstract: The element moulding consists of metal mesh and contains prepunched perforations. These perforations for the introduction of reinforcing bars are arranged in a row parallel to the longitudinal edge of the element moulding. When concreting the first stage the element moulding is buttressed unilaterally with wooden support elements. Before commencing the concreting of the second stage the wooden support elements are removed. The element moulding is used as sunken shuttering for both stages of the concrete structure. The erection of element moulding shuttering is easy and effortless; the bonding of both stages flawlessly effected.

  • Patent number: 4338757
Abstract: Before a main wall is prepared by pouring concrete, a profile element with anchor steel rods extended through its bottoms is fitted to a planking in such a way that a cavity is created between the bottoms of the profile element and the planking. The profile element has two side walls and two bottoms lying in the same plane. The anchor steel rods extended through the bottoms form U-shaped loops on the one side of the element, whereas the end portions of the anchor steel rods bent in right angles from the legs of the U-shaped portions lie on the other side of the element. The surface of the profile element is roughened and its side walls enclose each a sharp angle with the bottoms. By means of the profile element locked in the concrete of the completed main wall a groove is formed in the outer face of the concrete main wall out of which groove the end portions of the anchor steel rods can be bent outward without additional works, such as scratching-out of a plastic body as per the prior art.
