  • Publication number: 20160081301
Abstract: An equine ear warmer garment including a strap for placement around a head of a horse. The garment also includes a pair of substantially conical-shaped protrusions located on a top of said strap and composed of a first material exhibiting heat insulative and water resistant capabilities. Each conical-shaped protrusion designed for accepting an ear of a horse. A portion of each conical-shaped protrusion includes a material that allows substantially full transmission of sound from an exterior source into an interior of each conical-shaped protrusion. The garment also includes a hook and loop fastener located on the ends of the strap such that the ends of the strap may be coupled under the horse's head when the ear warmer garment is worn.

  • Patent number: 7565190
Abstract: A method for planning atrial fibrillation (AF) intervention for a patient includes obtaining acquisition data from a medical imaging system, and generating a 3D model of the left atrium and pulmonary veins of the patient. One or more left atrial anatomical landmarks are identified on the 3D model, and saved views of the 3D model are registered on an interventional system. One or more of the registered saved views are visualized with the interventional system.

  • Publication number: 20080044377
Abstract: In one embodiment, there is provided a method for treatment or prophylaxis of one or more symptoms of a retrovirus infection such as HIV infection, comprising the administration of poxvirus vector encoding a retrovirus antigen and a cytokine, or a functional homolog, derivative part or analog thereof, in conjunction with anti-retroviral drug therapy wherein said polypeptide and/or cytokine are expressed in a subject and are effective in maintaining a low viral load in a subject for a period of time, for example effectively preventing, reducing or delaying viral rebound during interruption of anti-retroviral drug treatment.

  • Publication number: 20050113665
Abstract: A method includes receiving a multi-phase axial cardiac dataset, receiving a selection of a phase from a user, when the received selection is systole, generating an endocardial volume of a left ventricle at an end systole phase without further user intervention, and when the received selection is diastole, generating an endocardial volume of the left ventricle at an end diastole phase without further user intervention.
