  • Patent number: 9744566
Abstract: A collection apparatus for collecting waste from cleaning operations performed on an aircraft turbine engine includes a frame structure, a support arm having a first end movably attached to the frame structure and an opposite second end, an actuator device adapted to enable raising and lowering the support arm, a waste storage tank, a duct having an inlet end and an opposite outlet end adapted to be removably connected to the waste storage tank, and a flexible duct portion having a flexible portion inlet end and a flexible portion outlet end. The inlet end of the duct is adjustably supported by the second end of the support arm. The flexible portion outlet end engages the inlet end of the duct in fluid communication, and is bendable both up/down and sideways and is expandable in length between the flexible portion inlet end and the flexible portion outlet end.

  • Patent number: 9138788
Abstract: A collection apparatus is provided for collecting waste water from cleaning operations performed on aircraft turbine engines. It comprises a frame structure having a pivotally mounted support arm. An actuator device is arranged to rise and lower the support arm between an essentially horizontal transport position to an operative position. A flexible duct is provided with an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end of the flexible duct is pivotally attached to the support arm so as to be movable around at least a horizontal axis.

  • Publication number: 20140060589
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a maintenance unit for servicing aircraft during stand-still, comprising electrically powered service and/or maintenance equipment. There is a power input for connecting the unit to an electrical power supply operating at 200/115VAC at 400 Hz. The unit further comprises a transformer and conversion unit (TCU) for transforming the 200/115 VAC/400 Hz power to standard grid voltage at 400/23OVAC at 50 Hz and at least one frequency converter enabling variable frequency of the output voltage, for powering said service and/or maintenance equipment. The maintenance equipment may be a gas turbine engine washing equipment and comprises a water delivery member for supplying water from a water source, a high pressure pump coupled to the water providing means for providing pressurized water, and a high pressure water outlet.
