  • Publication number: 20240058229
Abstract: A method may prepare a tinted cosmetic composition, in particular a make-up composition, which is particularly versatile. Such a method may make it possible to prepare tinted cosmetic compositions that can be suitable for many types of skin tone, e.g., including preparing a continuous hydrophilic phase comprising (i) a hydrophilic compound A in a range of from 90 to 99.6 wt. % of a hydrophilic phase of the oil-in-water emulsion, and (ii) a polymer P, in a range of from 0.4 to 10 wt. % of the hydrophilic phase, the polymer P comprising, in polymerized form, an anionic monomer (a1) and a C1-C8 ester (a2); adding, under stirring, a lipophilic phase comprising a lipophilic compound B, to form a dispersion of lipophilic phase particles in the continuous hydrophilic phase; then adding, under stirring, of a pigment C. The coloration, retention, and stability properties of such compositions are particularly improved.

  • Publication number: 20220409496
Abstract: Anti-UV cosmetic compositions in the form of an emulsion may include an emulsifying polymer which is prepared by polymerizing an anionic monomer and a C1-C7 ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid. Such anti-UV cosmetic compositions may be prepared in the absence of a surfactant. The preparation and use of such anti-UV cosmetic compositions may provide anti-UV cosmetic composition having dual protection for the skin: protection against UV rays and limiting the penetration of UV filters into the skin.

  • Patent number: 11510477
Abstract: A device for treating human keratinous material, in particular with the aid of an electric current. The device includes a reservoir containing a composition, in particular cosmetic or dermatological, to be applied to the keratinous material, and an end fitting for the application of the composition contained in the reservoir, the end fitting comprising a plurality of application members and a distributor. The distributor includes at least one storage cavity for the composition and supply orifices to conduct the composition from the storage cavity or cavities to the application members, and the distributor being configured so that the flow rate of the composition arriving at the application members is identical to within 20% for at least two application members, better for each application member.

  • Patent number: 11116301
Abstract: A device for treating human keratin materials that delivers a cosmetic or dermatological composition onto the latter together with the application of an electric current, in particular an electrophoresis device, the composition applied being contained in a cartridge carried by the device, the cartridge having a body that forms a reservoir and a piston through which a drive screw passes and which can move in the body under the effect of the relative rotation of the screw and the piston, the device comprising an electric drive motor for bringing about this relative rotation of the screw and of the piston, and an electronic circuit for controlling the electric motor.
