Patent number: 8783630Abstract: A riser clamp (1) made up of several parts and designed to carry a plurality of fluid pipes (11) in parallel with and spaced apart from a surface coated steel riser (10) is shown. The riser (10) itself is designed to be deployed into the sea for communication between a well head at the seabed and a surface vessel. Each riser clamp (1) is designed for frictional, non rotatable fixation to the surface coated riser (10) and is provided with a plurality of pipe saddles (V) to carry the respective fluid pipes (11). The riser clamp (1) has an internal abutment surface (2) made of fiber reinforced composite material which is configured substantially complementary to and designed to bear against the external, surface coated surface of the riser (10). The riser clamp (1) is tightened by means of circumferentially acting tightening means.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2010Date of Patent: July 22, 2014Assignee: Aker Subsea ASInventors: Per Kristian Gronlund, Carsten Haavardtun, Kjell Hagatun, Helge Grande Urhamar

Patent number: 7442743Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a propylene polymer in a multistage polymerization process comprising the polymerisation of propylene in the presence of a catalyst in a first reaction zone comprising at least one slurry reactor to give a first polymerisation product, transferring said first product to a second reaction zone comprising at least one gas phase reactor and continuing polymerisation of propylene in the gas phase in the presence of said first polymerisation product which is characterised in that the temperature in both the slurry and the gas phase reactor is at least 75° C. and the product of at least one reactor is having an ethylene content in the range of 0.05 to 0.5 wt %. Furthermore, the invention relates to a propylene polymer obtainable by the inventive process, to a propylene polymer which is characterised in that it comprises ethylene comonomer in an amount of 0.05 to 0.5 wt. %, is having a xylene solubles contents of 3.0 wt.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2002Date of Patent: October 28, 2008Assignee: Borealis Technology OyInventors: Pirjo Jääskeläinen, Marijke Verpoest, Bert Broeders, Helge Grande

Patent number: 5922269Abstract: A method of manufacturing a plastic pallet having a deck and legs underneath the deck includes forming an extruded parison, while still hot, into an article having a pallet deck and integrated sheet legs along its longitudinal, transverse, or both sides. The formed article is removed from the mold and the formed sheet legs are brought into a position perpendicular to the pallet deck and then are fastened in that position.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1996Date of Patent: July 13, 1999Assignee: Borealis A/SInventors: Oddbjorn Gronnevik, Helge Grande, Rolf Kotterheinrich
