Abstract: An apparatus for sowing granular material, particularly in combination with a harrow, including a storage hopper (1) which at its outlet is provided with at least one injector (4) operated by a blower (6) and connected with a transport conduit (5) leading to a number of seed shares (15) and provided with a cam or cellular wheel for metering the granular material, the transport conduit (5) being connected with a metering device (2) divided by a perforated plate (11) into a granulate compartment (12) communicating with the conduit (5) and an air compartment (13) from which hoses (14) extend to their respective seed share (15) and which over cam or cellular wheels (10) is in communication with the granulate compartment (12) and through a conduit (16) is connected with the blower (6) in front of the injector (4).

Abstract: In a flexible tine harrow for the preparation of seed beds and comprising a plurality of individual harrow sections, each of these sections has an intermediate frame which is supported by earth crumbling drums in front of and behind the harrow section and is towingly connected with the main frame both through a link connection at the front end of the intermediate frame and through a telescopic stay biased to extension and arranged above the harrow section, the directions of the pull and push forces exerted through the link connection and the stay intersecting at a point approximately in the level of the shares of the harrow tines.

Abstract: In an implement frame, particularly for an agricultural machine, comprising a central section and at least an end section or wing which is foldable between an extended operating position and a transport position substantially perpendicular thereto, the folding mechanism incorporates a first latch member for automatically arresting the end section in its extended position and a second latch member, associated with said first latch member, for automatically arresting the end section in its transport position.

Abstract: In a rotary earth crumbler having a central shaft (1) with mounting discs (2) fast thereon and an annular series of U-shaped resilient stirrups (3), the leg portions of these stirrups are formed with an outwardly convex curved section (12) which extends into a fixing slot (11) in the mounting disc and is then locked therein by deformation of parts of the slot borders below the mid portion of the curved section, thereby narrowing said slot. The locking may easily be released when needed, viz. by bringing the slot borders back to the original shape.
