  • Patent number: 6574997
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling device (19) for coupling a frictional damper with a middle longitudinal axis (21), which is coupled to an oscillatory washing unit with a drum axis, to a machine frame of a washing machine with a spin gear. The coupling device has a first bending axis, which runs vertically to the central longitudinal axis (21) and parallel to the drum axis, a second bending axis (33) which runs vertically to the central longitudinal axis (21) and to the first bending axis and intersects both at one point, a first connecting element for connecting the coupling device (19) to the frictional damper, a second connecting element for connecting the coupling device (19) to the machine frame and a spring element (24) that is located between the first connecting element and the second connecting element and is connected to both, the flexural strength of the coupling device (19) about the second bending axis (33) being greater than the flexural strength about the first bending axis.

  • Patent number: 6390716
Abstract: An object is to be mounted by two fastening elements. A fastening element comprises an inlet, which extends at an angle relative to a receptacle lodging a bearing journal, and which allows the fastening element to be placed crosswise on the bearing journal.

  • Patent number: 5549182
Abstract: A frictional damper for spinner-type washing machines comprises a housing and a tappet, which is coaxially displaceable within the latter and the inner end of which is provided with a damping piston. The damping piston is disposed on a piston-bearing section of the tappet to be displaceable between biased compression springs bearing against stops, and provided with a friction lining elastically pressed against the inside wall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 5188345
Abstract: In a lockable elevating mechanism for the continuous adjustment of chair seats a guide tube is provided, to the bottom plate of which is secured a piston rod of a longitudinally adjustable gas spring. The guide tube is provided with an additional tube, which can be exited telescopically and and which is guided in a guide bush arrested in the guide tube. The housing of the gas spring is in turn guided in a guide bush arrested in the additional tube. A mechanical spring is provided between the guide tube and the additional tube and acts upon the additional tube in a direction out of the guide tube.

  • Patent number: 5181589
Abstract: A reversible impact damper is in series with an additionally provided irreversible deformation damper. The impact damper is a usual solid damper. The deformation damper has a deformation piston bearing against a piston rod of the impact damper on the one hand and on the other hand against crimps, which are formed in the wall of a slide tube displaceable relative to the housing of the impact damper and which are deformable.
