  • Patent number: 6488477
Abstract: A material feed container (20), especially for thick material pumps, comprising a lower container component (38) that is upwardly open and a motor-driven agitator (44) that extends through the lower container component (38) in-between two side walls (50). In order to make the inside of the container easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance purposes, the agitator (44) is provided with a pivot bearing (56) and a drive motor (48) which together form a structural unit which is detachably connected to the lower container component (38). The container is also provided with a top piece (40) that is open towards the top and bottom, can be detachably arranged on the top edge of the lower container component (38) and can be connected to the lower container component (38) and/or agitator unit if so desired.

  • Patent number: 6338615
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pipe switch for a dual-cylinder thick-liquid pump, wherein said system comprises a pivoting pivot pipe (36) located in the front of a glasses-like wear plate (34) on the cylinder side as well as a wear ring (38) which is capable of limited axial displacement at the end of the pivot pipe (36) on the cylinder side. The ring can be pressed against the wear plate (34) by the hydrostatic pressure existing inside said pivot pipe. The wear ring 38 has a centering portion (46) guided on an axis-parallel centering surface (42) of the pivot pipe (36) as well as a sealing part (54) resting against the wear plate (34) through an abutment surface (52) on the cylinder side. The pivot pipe (36) and the sealing part (54) of the wear ring (38) have annular surfaces (56, 58) which face each other and which are axially spaced from one another by an annular gap (59) opened towards the inside of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 6220834
Abstract: The invention relates to a sliding device for two-cylinder pumps for liquids, especially designed for concrete pumps. The sliding device (20) has a pivot pipe (16) which is bent and has substantially a C-shape. The pivot pipe is fixedly connected, at its upper end, to an extension pipe (42) protruding over a back wall (24) of a material feeding bin and connected, at its end opposite the pivot pipe, to a discharge conduit through a pipe rotating connection. The pivot pipe is placed in such a way that it is able to pivot about the axis of the extension pipe so that its other end is connected alternatively to the openings of the discharge cylinder (10). In order to ensure reliable operation in spite of frictional wear in the extension pipe (42), the invention provides for a support pipe (84) which coaxially overlaps the extension pipe (42), is fixedly connected to the upper end of the pivot pipe and extends over least on one part of the extension pipe (42).

  • Patent number: 5957675
Abstract: A thick matter pump, especially a concrete pump, including a material feed container, two conveyor cylinders opening at the front into the inside of the material feed container, a swivelling pipe, one end of which alternately in pulses communicates with the frontal apertures in the conveying cylinder and the other end being connected to a conveyor pipe and with a closable cleaning aperture in the appropriate pipe wall arranged near the end of the conveyor pipe or in a section of the swivelling pipe outside the material feed container. A cleaning cartridge can be connected to the cleaning aperture having a compressed air and/or pressurized water connection while the feed pipe and/or the swivelling pipe can be closed on the conveyor cylinder side by means of a blocking system.

  • Patent number: 5823748
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for opening and closing a closure cap (16) fitted over a cleaning aperture (10) in the floor of the discharge container (12) of a pump (14) for thick-bodies fluids. The cap (16) is linked to a hydraulic drive unit (20) and can be swung out hydraulically, when a control valve (48) is actuated, into the open position in which the discharge outlet is left open. The cap (16) is swung back into the closed position by means of a hand-operated lever (23), the hydraulic drive unit (20) being returned at the same time to its initial position.

  • Patent number: 5746247
Abstract: The invention concerns a slide valve for a two-cylinder pump, in particular a truck-mounted concrete pump. The slide valve has an essentially C-shaped swing pipe which is connected at the upper end by a rotating joint to a discharge line and is mounted so that it can be rotated by a switchover mechanism about an axis which is essentially parallel to the axes of the pump cylinders in such a way that its lower end, which is fitted with a wearing ring, is connected alternately to the apertures at the ends of the pump cylinders connected to the rear wall of a feed tank. In order to enable the swing pipe to swing through a large distance, the swing drive cylinders, which are preferably designed as piston/cylinder units, are mounted in ball sockets located at the cylinder bearings and their axes of operation include between then an obtuse angle facing the rear wall.

  • Patent number: 5190449
Abstract: A material-feeding container is disclosed for two-cylinder thick-matter pumps having feeding cylinders that open into the container. Inside the container is arranged a switchable guide-tube linked to the feeding line and alternatively movable between the openings of the feeding cylinders. A cleaning and servicing opening that can be closed with a cap provided with an agitator is arranged in each side wall. When the closing cap hinged on the material-feeding container is opened, the agitator pivots out of the container through the servicing opening, making the switchable guide-tube and its wearing parts freely accessible from the outside.
