  • Patent number: 10502273
Abstract: A pneumatically or electromechanically actuated disk brake includes a brake disk having a preferred direction of rotation in forward travel, a brake carrier extending around the brake disk, a brake caliper extending around the brake disk, a fastening-side brake pad with a friction material, an application device having a pressure-exerting device on one side of the brake disk, and a rim-side brake pad with friction material. A fastening-side line of gravity, in the rest state of the brake, is arranged with a predetermined first offset with respect to a central axis in the direction of the entry side of the brake disk in the preferred direction of rotation. A rim-side line of gravity is arranged either with a predetermined second offset with respect to the central axis, the second offset being unequal to the first offset, or with a third offset with respect to the central axis.

  • Patent number: 10280996
Abstract: A disc brake includes a brake caliper, a brake pad, a retaining spring holding the brake pad in a radial direction relative to a brake axis, a retaining bracket pretensioning the retaining spring in the radial direction, a first holder on the brake caliper configured to support the retaining bracket towards a radial outside, and a second holder on the brake caliper configured to support the retaining bracket radially towards the radial outside but not in an axial direction, the second holder comprising a stop. At least one of the first holder or the second holder has a stop acting in a first axial direction. The retaining bracket has at least one of a first protrusion that rests on the retaining spring in a second axial direction opposite the first axial direction and a second protrusion that rests on the brake caliper in the second axial direction.

  • Patent number: 9291226
Abstract: The invention relates to a disk brake, in particular for commercial vehicles, comprising a brake pad, a brake application device for pressing the brake pad against a brake disk, a pressure plate, by way of which the brake application device presses the brake pad against the brake disk during the braking process, and comprising an inclined guide, which during braking guides the pressure plate along a path located transversely to the brake axis. The pressure plate is provided with a protrusion, and the brake pad is provided with a recess, which accommodates the protrusion when assembled.

  • Publication number: 20140209420
Abstract: The invention relates to a disc brake, in particular for utility vehicles, comprising a brake lining that comprises a first protrusion located eccentrically in the thickness direction, a tensioning unit for pressing the brake lining against a brake disc, a pressure plate, via which the tensioning unit presses the brake lining against the brake disc when braking, and a first retainer spring for retaining the brake lining, which retainer spring comprises an opening for accommodating the first protrusion, wherein a projection on the retainer spring extends in the mounted state over the brake lining on one side in the axial direction of the brake disc.
