Abstract: A ball guide (1) has a cage (6)which is produced by coiling a strip (8). The strip (8) is pre-manufactured and includes apertures (9) to retain balls (7), for the guidance of exterior component (2) and shaft (4) relative to each other. The side edges (15) and (16) of the strip (8) are discontinuously joined with each other by spot welds. The cage (6) can additionally be equipped with a backup ring (17). The backup ring (17) is supported by the face area (18) of the cage (6). The backup ring support surface (21) serves as a contact surface for a compression spring (19). The other end of the spring is supported by the support surface (20) of a shoulder ring (22) to return the cage (6) to a center or home position. Through the use of a strip (8), the cages (6) may be produced in different diameters and lengths through a simple process.

Abstract: In a race wire bearing comprising two undivided, concentrically disposed race rings having race wires which are disposed in facing grooves and on which rolling members roll, the first race ring having two race wires, a carrying or support wire receiving the main axial load and a retaining wire receiving only the disengaging tilting moment, and being formed at a place on its periphery with a filling orifice closed by a plug, the improvement comprising the filling orifice (7,16) being disposed as to interrupt only one race wire, the interrupted race wire being a retaining wire (6,18) and the plug (3) having a raceway (8) which replaces the retaining wire (6,18) missing at the filling orifice.

Abstract: A seal for a rolling bearing rotary joint consisting of two race rings disposed concentrically inside one another and between which rolling members roll, one race ring projecting axially beyond the other race ring and carrying an elastic gasket in this part projecting beyond the other race ring, the gasket being disposed in a peripheral groove which is open towards the other race ring and bearing slidingly against the other race ring, characterized in that the elastic gasket (7) has an axial sealing lip (8) bearing against the end face (9) of the other race ring (1) which has an axially outwardly extending peripheral collar (11) between the point of contact of said sealing lip and its surface facing the one race ring (2), against which peripheral collar (11) there bears a second radially acting sealing lip (10) of the elastic gasket (7).
