Patent number: 11918472Abstract: An augment device includes a hollow sleeve surrounding a channel extending through the hollow sleeve from a top to a bottom of the hollow sleeve, the hollow sleeve comprising a wall having an inner face and an outer face. The hollow sleeve includes at least one bending joint, the bending joint being configured for compressing the channel. Thereby the hollow sleeve may be compressed under an external force, leading to a decreased circumference and width of the hollow sleeve. This leads to a gap between the perimeter of the augment device and surrounding bone material, breaking any connections, By virtue of this, a much facilitated removal of the augment device can be achieved. Further, an extraction tool includes grippers for engaging and compressing the augment device, and further instruments, particularly a jig, for achieving an effective removal.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: WALDEMAR LINK GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Eckhard Bauer, Helmut D. Link

Patent number: 7115773Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the coupled production of two esters by reacting a mixture of aliphatic alcohols with an aliphatic carboxylic acid and then treating the resulting mixture by distillation. During the distillation process, a side flow that is taken from the distillation column that is connected downstream of the esterification reactor is fed back into said esterification reactor. The pure ester compounds are obtained from the bottom of the distillation columns that are connected downstream of the esterification reactor.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2001Date of Patent: October 3, 2006Assignee: Celanese Chemicals Europe GmbHInventors: Eckhard Schulz, Helmut Bauer, Klaus Dieter Merscher

Patent number: 7104770Abstract: The present invention relates to the arrangement of a stator and a spare stator. In order to avoid a permanent correction in the length of the driving shaft, the spare stator is connected to the instantaneously operated stator or is configured in a single piece. Upon occurrence of a defined amount of wear, this stator combination is merely reversed through 180° relative to the longitudinal axis or an intermediate tube is inserted so that the spare stator arrives in the rotor region.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2003Date of Patent: September 12, 2006Assignee: NETZSCH-Mohnopumpen GmbHInventors: Helmut Bauer, Christoph Boehnisch, Reinhard Denk, Matthias Gradl, Michael Groth, Guido Gutmann, Guenther Hantschk, Siegfried Jarzina, Franz Kneidl, Johann Kreidl, Robert Kurz, Franz Lachenwitzer, Uwe Neumann, Hansjuergen Linde, Thomas Ribbe, Michael Robby, Karl-Heinz Rosner, Matthias Schaefer, Thomas Streubel, Alfred Thumser

Patent number: 6239657Abstract: An equalizer for automatically equalizing a high-frequency power amplifier having a reference carrier generator which generates a reference carrier from a measured input signal of the high-frequency power amplifier, and a first synchronous demodulator while generating an input envelope curve from the measured input signal and from the reference carrier. A second synchronous demodulator which generates an in-phase component of an output envelope curve from the measured output signal of the high-frequency power amplifier and from the reference carrier, as well as a phase shifter which shifts the phase of the reference carrier 90° are also provided. A third synchronous demodulator generates a quadrature component of the output envelope curve from the measured output signal of the high-frequency power amplifier and from the reference carrier that has been shifted 90° in phase.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 1999Date of Patent: May 29, 2001Assignee: Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. Patent number: 6185819Abstract: A catalytic converter housing arrangement includes inlet and outlet funnels having large diameter ends mounted by connection bevels at the ends of a wound metal sheet forming a tubular central part of the catalytic converter and welded to the bevels. The funnels are produced from tubular blanks by expanding one end and drawing in the other end. This results in a significant reduction in weight compared with funnels which are deep-drawn from sheet-metal blanks.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 1997Date of Patent: February 13, 2001Assignee: Volkswagen AGInventors: Helmut Bauer, Olaf Herden, Werner Harsch, Robert Siebert

Patent number: 5630266Abstract: A method and apparatus for making a plurality of integral support plates for chairs, involving passing a strip of metallic material along a forming line and carrying our a series of operations on the strip, including: piercing and lancing holes, removing material adjacent the holes to permit use of a strip carrier, and cutting notches in opposed longitudinal sides at a first stage; then lancing the strip along two substantially transverse lines extending inwardly to the lancing holes; then carrying out a plurality of sequential operations for creating an integral, closed-ended sleeve projecting from the plate. A subsequent stage involves piercing the closed end of the sleeve and trimming away excessive edge material around the plate. At a later stage, reinforcement ribs are provided, along with any additional profiles that are needed. Then, mounting holes and any required slots are pierced. Finally, the completed support plate is cut from the strip.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1995Date of Patent: May 20, 1997Inventor: Helmut Bauer
