Abstract: A remote control module for a self-propelled working device has a terminal data interface for interchanging data with a mobile terminal using a terminal data protocol specific to the terminal type, and a working device data interface for interchanging data with the working device using a working device data protocol specific to the working device type. A processing unit is adapted, when the mobile terminal is coupled to the self-propelled working device, to determine the identity and the type of the terminal and the identity and the type of the working device via the respective data interface or to retrieve them from a data memory, to reciprocally translate the respective data protocols when interchanging data between the terminal and the working device, and to transmit machine control data (MCD) from the terminal to the working device and to transmit machine status data (MSD) from the working device to the terminal.

Abstract: A catalytic converter housing arrangement includes inlet and outlet funnels having large diameter ends mounted by connection bevels at the ends of a wound metal sheet forming a tubular central part of the catalytic converter and welded to the bevels. The funnels are produced from tubular blanks by expanding one end and drawing in the other end. This results in a significant reduction in weight compared with funnels which are deep-drawn from sheet-metal blanks.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for making a plurality of integral support plates for chairs, involving passing a strip of metallic material along a forming line and carrying our a series of operations on the strip, including: piercing and lancing holes, removing material adjacent the holes to permit use of a strip carrier, and cutting notches in opposed longitudinal sides at a first stage; then lancing the strip along two substantially transverse lines extending inwardly to the lancing holes; then carrying out a plurality of sequential operations for creating an integral, closed-ended sleeve projecting from the plate. A subsequent stage involves piercing the closed end of the sleeve and trimming away excessive edge material around the plate. At a later stage, reinforcement ribs are provided, along with any additional profiles that are needed. Then, mounting holes and any required slots are pierced. Finally, the completed support plate is cut from the strip.

Abstract: An electrochemical actuator forms a sealed gas space inside of which there are a plurality of cells. Each cell has a solid electrode made from an electrochemically reversibly oxidizable material and a counter electrode. By applying a reversible direct current, an electrochemical reaction is initiated which results in a pressure increase or decrease in the gas space that can be used for generating movement. The manufacture of the actuator is simplified and manufacturing costs are lowered by providing a stackable spacer frame for each cell which is constructed of a material that is a relatively good heat conductor and an electric isolator. The rim of a metallic cell cup is attached to the spacer frame and a matrix soaked with an electrolyte is placed inside the cup. Each cell further has a solid electrode, a separator and a counter electrode which, together with the spacer frame, are assembled into a cell.

The boundary walls are secured, hanging or suspended on the cover sealing part. At least one heat exchanger lies in a suction region of the ventilator via which the return air flows.

Abstract: In a high frequency transistor power amplifier comprising a plurality of power transistors which are disposed in an annular arrangement, the input terminals of the transistors are connected to a common input through separate input matching circuits and a distributor circuit. The output terminals of the power transistors, on the other hand, are combined directly in a common output connection, without any intermediate matching circuits, this common output connection being connected to a single output matching circuit common to all the power transistors.
