    Abstract: In a full-width washing machine for a steam-permeable textile width of fabric, an injection device for steam is provided on one side the width of fabric, and on the other side, opposite this device, a suction device is provided, which can generate a partial vacuum of at least 0.2 bar. The exit opening of the injection device and the entry opening of the suction device extend over the entire width of the width of fabric. The width of fabric is guided through and between the injection device and the suction device. Steam is injected into the width of fabric and driven through the width of fabric and extracted on the other side, together with the residues which have been dissolved out of the fabric.
