  • Patent number: 4614903
Abstract: In a circuit arrangement for a reversible electric motor for directly driving a windshield wiper the motor is operated at reduced rotational speed in predetermined angular ranges to ensure smooth starting and stopping in the reversing positions and an accurate parking position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 14, 1984
Date of Patent: September 30, 1986
    Assignee: ITT Industries, Inc.
Inventors: Helmut Betsch, Walter Bierent, Gunther Gille, Horst Goertler, Hans Prohaska, Horst Rachner
  • Patent number: 4580203
Abstract: An illuminating device for use in an automotive vehicle for panel lighting, in which the holder carrying the panel lighting incandescent lamp is composed of two electrically conductive contact plates, between which is inserted an insulating foil plate. The two conductive plates are superimposed and fixed to each other with the foil plate between, whereby the contact webs or terminals for connecting the incandescent lamp are integrally formed out of these contact plates.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 23, 1984
Date of Patent: April 1, 1986
    Assignee: ITT Industries, Inc.
    Inventors: Helmut Betsch, Herbert Teply
  • Patent number: 4329631
Abstract: A windshield wiper control circuit is described wherein the time at which the wiper motor is deenergized after an operating switch has been switched off is determined by the wiper speed. The parking position of the wiper is thereby independent of the condition of the windshield.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 29, 1980
Date of Patent: May 11, 1982
    Assignee: ITT Industries Incorporated
Inventors: Helmut Betsch, Horst Goertler, Karl-Heinz Liedtke, Hans Prohaska, Horst Rachner
