Abstract: An electrolysis method for electrolytic cells having an electrode-membrane-electrode assembly includes two porous electrode having a porous membrane located therebetween and filled with electrolyte or having an ion exchange membrane located therebetween, one or more liquids being led directly into the membrane of the electrode-membrane-electrode assembly. The one or more liquids are guided in a channel structure arranged in the membrane. An electrolytic cell includes porous electrode, between which a porous membrane is arranged. A liquid electrolyte is fixed in the pore of electrodes and membrane, a product gas chamber adjoining the cathode, a further product gas chamber adjoining the anode, and an arrangement for feeding a liquid to the electrode. A channel structure, in which distribution of the liquid is provided, is arranged in the membrane.

Abstract: A medical catheter for intravascular long-term infusion of medication by an implanted or extracorporeal dosage device characterized by the catheter tube being of a single or multi-layer elastomer having a distal end shaped such that the exit opening for the medication is laterally arranged axially offset relative to the distal end of the catheter. The catheter is also coated with an external protective layer composed of a hydrogel.

Abstract: An apparatus for infusion of liquids into human or animal bodies which comprises a liquid reservoir having a reduced-pressure generating means associated therewith and an active delivery-dosing means, such as a roller pump, operationally coupled with the reservoir and with an outflow catheter having outflow opening within the body being infused. The reduced-pressure generating means, such as a volatile fluid, for example, a halogenated hydrocarbon, maintains a pressure at the point of connection between the reservoir and the active delivery-dosing means at a reference value which is lower than the pressure prevailing at the outflow opening of the outflow catheter.

Abstract: To provide for extended true running of the distributor shaft and prevent wear on relatively movable mechanical components within the distributor, such as a shaft and bearings, a centrifugal spark advance/retard mechanism, or the like, the relatively movable parts are included in the lubricating circuit of the engine, for example by being connected to the pressure lubrication system of the engine or located to be exposed to oil mist in the engine compartment and arising upon operation of the engine, so that the relatively movable parts are constantly lubricated by the engine lubricating system.

Abstract: To improve operating reliability and centric guidance of the switch contacts in sealed breaker contact assemblies, a carrier bolt, extending through a flexible membrane into a chamber, and carrying a movable contact, is operated by a lever which has a lever arm movable in the direction of the cam shaft of the breaker assembly, the lever being V-shaped and pivoted at the apex of the V, and engaging the cam shaft with an arm which is opposite to the arm which operates the contact bolt.
